Good day Miss Angler, i have a series of questions that i would like to ask you firstly: is Areolar and Adipose Tissue the same thing and does it fall under Loose Connective Tissue Together? secondly: why didn't you add the "categories they lie in" ie. Loose Connective Tissue, Fluid Connective Tissue ect. is it not important as per se? thirdly: Why doesn't Yellow Elastic Tissue fall under Dense Connective Tissue and not Loose Connective Tissue? Don't they both stretch considering the fact that Areolar also has elastin fibre? if you could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE explain to me in the comments i would be EXTREMELY grateful, thank you in advance for your consideration.

24:12 Could you define voluntary and involuntary movement? You said smooth muscles control involuntary actions such as breathing and blinking, yet those 2 examples are also voluntary unlike your heart beat.
@missangler
@missangler 9 ай бұрын
Blinking and breathing are both involuntary movements. Involuntary means that the brain controls the action without instruction from you. All involuntary actions are controlled by the medulla and cerebellum in the brain. Voluntary action means you are controlling the action. Blinking can become voluntary if you are winking for example.
@missangler
@missangler 9 ай бұрын
Another way to think of it is breathing does not stop while you sleep for example its involuntary. I think you need to refocus on what is and is not a voluntary action as this will affect your understanding of future nervous system topics
@kayleedaniels6649
@kayleedaniels6649 9 күн бұрын
Striated muscles actually control breathing that’s why you can make conscious choices to breath more deeply/shallow. But the muscles are connected to your nervous system. The nervous system will transmit signals telling your breathing muscles to work without you thinking about it
