This show debut on September 12th, 1976. Replaced the TV show Make A Wish which ran from 1971 to 1976. The final season of Make A Wish was a Bicentennial version which celebrated the American Revolution and the signing of The Declaration of Independence 200th anniversary.

I'm imaging how see looked as I listened to the Animals theme. Whoa exactly how I pictured her. Oh the 70's how I miss them.

I used to look forward to this part of the show. Hal Linden always found something sweet to say about Lynn Kellogg - and no wonder!

So freely singing, memorising a new song every week,looking equally beautiful in every performance,really miss her songs,she was really beautiful,such a lovely smile,lovely voice, I haven't seen any more of her songs on YT except this one, she was such an adorable and talented singer. There were some more of her very good songs.

Is she the singer from the original Broadway version of Hair (1967)? Lynn Kellog was the one that sang "Good Morning Starshine" in that broadway musical before it was turned into a movie in 1970 and before Oliver sang it in 1969.

I bought a VHS off Lynn's partner with some episodes and she signed the label. Before the days of youtube. Gotta find it now

She was so lovely, she was my childhood love too :-) I'd wait a whole week just to listen her song and she had such a great song memory, she never used a prompter,evident from the fact that she was always looking straight into the camera,they used to film her song in the outdoor during the afternoon or morning but the mellow sunshine made her so beautiful that her golden blonde hair,her shining lips and shining crystal blue eyes looked very, very lovely,she was an excellent guitar player too.

You are 100% right :-) She made guitar play look so simple, like anyone could play and sing along effortlessly like that!! Her country guitar was as perfect as any male session musician. I use to wonder about her song memory too!! So easily did she memorise a new song along with chords every week, didn't even use a prompter as her eyes were clearly focussed towards the camera. They filmed her in afternoon or maybe morning, golden blonde hair,her shining lips and crystal blue eyes were so lovely.
