Its so good. These guys don't have a bad track in all of their albums. The riff is very Meshuggah like in its sound. You guys should react to Meshuggah as they're a huge influence on this band and many others in the Djent subgenre.

Was waiting on this. Tosin is amazing but Gartska's drum work is some of the best now. Tooth and Claw is still my recommendation for more of them.

This makes me want a Meshuggah reaction! Please do *Meshuggah- Dancers to a Discordant System!* Nobody has reacted to it yet and it's a true masterpiece. Totally different from "Bleed"

The choreography is amazing! Really dig the style. Reminds me of the Bleed music video or the Architect characters from the Prometheus movie. Such interesting movements, almost chaotically inhuman

Was just hoping I’d see y’all do this haha just saw it today as well. Soo cool if you notice before he starts “moving to the beat” in the beginning as Erica says 😂 you can see his hand is moving to the beat first, love that detail the dancer did!! Probably doesn’t show up well in their reaction so check out the original video xD

Love this song, love you guys for playing it... I've heard this song a few times now (...maybe more than that😎) it has so many layers. I wouldn't even call this math metal because it's just thinking metal, it has a feel and a rythm you can grasp, it's just real intense and drawn out. This new album is going to be BROAD in it's ability and tones, but of course I should've guessed that, typical AAL. I mean the dude just invented, yes, invented, a new style of picking called selective picking, which makes you think wow, why didn't we think of this already, then you say oh, cuz we didn't have a Tosin Abasi, that's why. Then you got those mad triplets on the kick in sync with at least one of the guitarists thumps almost the whole song...the layers can be talked about for days. Anyways, no news yet on the new album's date but they are done tracking it since like a month ago. I bet it'll be out by the end of the year.

I think AAL need to find more of their own character by dropping the Meshuggah knock-off riffs. They are a great band that shouldn't need to rely on playing someone else's style.

Lol... Meshuggah don't have a monopoly on that sound mate, and they're such different bands... Your comment is quite ignorant dude.
@craigroaring
@craigroaring 3 жыл бұрын
@@jayc4734 Yes, Meshuggah DO have a monopoly on that sound...they created it. It IS their sound. Nothing ignorant about that observation. In fact, i'd say anyone who doesn't know AAL rips of Meshuggah sound are the ones who are ignorant. I will admit the drums are quite different though. And just out of curiosity, do you think Periphery rip Meshuggah off?
@jayc4734
@jayc4734 3 жыл бұрын
@@craigroaring I can tell from your reply that you're not the brightest spark. Musical influence isn't "ripping off", and I'm sure Meshuggah wouldn't refer to it as such. So why does someone like you appear to take offence on their behalf - it's quite sad...
@craigroaring
@craigroaring 3 жыл бұрын
@@jayc4734 You must have very little experience with music if you can't hear the lack of originality in those Meshuggah knock off riffs. It's sad when bands are not held into account for their lack of originality because their listeners are ignorant. You're insults towards me are the height of hypocrisy.
@Diesel_Budgie
@Diesel_Budgie 2 жыл бұрын
@@craigroaring Nothing wrong with a band influencing a single riff in your song. Have you noticed the other 95% of the song? Bright, inspiring melodic runs in high and low registers, absolutely unique technical drumming, and a sonic palette far more diverse than Meshuggah usually employs. I absolutely love Meshuggah as well, but I'm not going to let that touch of influence prevent me from enjoying the unique riches that AAL brings to the table.
