I remember a woman moving into our neighborhood and being warned not to feed or encourage the 3 or 4 troops of monkeys that rolled through the suburbs, as they could be very dangerous. She declined that advice. She put out heaps of fruit for them every morning. One morning she was running late and didn't put out the fruit, queue the attack....... Monkeys are smart they understand natural hierarchy, so when the men of the neighborhood ran to her defence, they scattered. She was hospitalised with 45 bite wounds. Did I mention that they were vicious little buggers?
