[Animatic] Trigun - Devil in Disguise

Blame Elvis Presley for this one.
Welcome to my newest hyperfixation. Trigun has a death grip on me, even more so does the Vashmeryl ship becomes that is just the dynamic I absolutely adore. And when "You're the Devil in Disguise" got stuck in my head, I immediately made the connection to these two dorks cos it just FITS.
And cos I have no impulse control, this turned into a 3 day ordeal where I cranked this out over one weekend.
My hand did not like that.

I beg to differ. In Badlands rumble, he had no rizz to speak of. It was embarrassing but he's one of those dudes that cannot charm anyone they actually wanna rizz up but is an absolute hunk to everyone else.

@@driftinghobbies277 It's a long story, but for such an integral plot point to literally everything, '98 really didn't give it the narrative attention it deserved. It was one of my 2 big narrative bones to pick with the og that I wanted Stampede to address, and it handled both of them beautifully. Stampede actually gives the fact that Vash isn't human and all that his background entails the attention and space it deserves. They start working with it from the very first episode if you know where to look, but if you want to jump straight to the explanation, it starts at the end of the episode called 'Wolfwood' and ends with 'Millions Knives'

I just watched the remake. It was pretty good. Actually it’s definitely going to have a season two I need to watch the original even though I’ve read the book 1st before them all it’s really something isn’t it?

@@dragonboy5019I'm watching the original anime now after watching Stampede and this is largely a matter of personal taste but I like Trigun so much better. There's lots of things it does better imo and most importantly it scratches my persistent philosophical itch. It actually addresses and confronts all the realities of pacifism that I'm so frequently preoccupied with but never see any advocate of pacifism get into. I have one episode left and am very excited to see the end, but already stalling because I don't want it to be over.

@@themindeclectic9821 Tbf, they are such different adaptations and Trigun Stampede isn't even over. Episode 12 was literally the start, hence why it's called "Episode 0 High Noon at July."

I just draw each frame in Paint Tool Sai and then stitch them together in a video editing program. I use Premiere Pro rn cos I can get it for rather cheap but it rly works with any vep.
