You really did good at restoring them mechanically. I really enjoyed seeing the restoration progress from the start in 2019 to the where you've gotten recently.

Love the way you explained everything you did pretty detailed. But i would really have loved to hear about your Uncle Klunk und what you had to do to get him running. Partly because he still scares the living hell out of me but mostly because his whole mechanics and his palette of movements is so advanced which is so interesting to me. Keep up the good work!👍🏻

Day 2 of asking "Hello, I found your channel when you were at the makers fair and I heard you say that you used an Arduino based controller and I have been looking for a controller big enough for a rockafire animatronic for quite some time and I was wondering if you could go in depth of how you built it and how someone like me could build it and what we would need to do on the programming side of things. Thank you!"

I would recommend the Layton bitstripper as a controller. I do not have my arduino controller set up anymore.

@@animatronicswarehouse I appreciate your response but I have a few more questions. That the bit stripper looks great and all but it is a lot of money that I don't have. That is why I am having a hard time finding a controller in the right price range and I already have a computer and an Arduino and some intermediate knowledge with electronics so I thought an Arduino controller would be good but every video I find takes up all the pins for two some outputs and that is definitely not enough to control an animatronic, also you have to manually write the code in the IDE with crude timing and no sound. I would like to know if you have any other controllers in mind. Sorry for taking up your time. Thank you!

Do you happen to know what type of cylinders rock afire uses?

They use Fabco, Chicago, Clippard, and Tolomatic. Although earlier sets used C&V cylinders until they switched to Chicago cylinders when Creative Engineering needed to manufacture more shows more quicker.

That’s how the it makes the character look like a woman, you can see it better when her dress is on. It just helps with shaping.
