I feel like rimuru vs anos is an impossible question. Tensura cosmology is relatively simple because there was a single creator god that made something he probably believed would lead to the loss of his powers and gaining his own happiness, and the more parts the multiverse had at that point,the more things could go wrong as he gave up being all knowing. After rimuru became strong enough to do whatever he wanted,he did nothing to increase the complexity because he is only concerned with jura tempest, he doesn't have a reason to do so. The differences in universes make comparison impossible and unfair for both sides

Honestly. Both Rimuru and Anos completely cancel each other out with their skills leading to a battle that would never end until one gave up. They both have infinite stamina and Rimuru has infinite amounts of magic(not sure about Anos) so it would be just never ending.

Literally there was no ones but anos that rimuru couldn't beat, and with anos its weird cause they're both pretty equal in every stat possible so its most likely a stalemate

ok imma vent for a sec, it seems that there's a common misconception that when rimuru took the souls of the soldiers that he did so because he needed to use them to revive his people. that's not the case what he needed the souls for was to become a demon lord in the first place, and when he did become a demon lord all the people connected to him (i.e. those he named) received a gift. and for those that were dead part of that "gift" would be reanimation, but a soulless one. this is why there was a barrier. long story short he needed to be a demon lord to bring his people back not the souls... though i guess TECHNICALLY you could say he used the souls to revive his people because he used them to become a demon lord which caused the revival process. ok sorry needed to rant a little i have no idea if i made any sense but oh well, also i'm not attacking anyone or anything like that i just wanted to clarify this plot point for anyone who misunderstood the scene... sorry about the wall
