No it isn't. When its in every shounen it gets annoying as hell. Power of friendship, plot armor? Eventually it gets tedious which is why the only shounen i recommend is hunter x hunter. Because the main characters aren't immortal. They have flaws and the world is bigger than them. And for god sake watch casshern sins please.

Gotta love how despite having a bazillion views and probably enough money to upgrade his technology, Griffy sticks with old-school and still kills it every time. He doesn’t need to use expensive tech to make us laugh.
