So when i say this, I am definitely not defending Mori. I have seen online a few people who are fans of him, and from what I've seen, they don't even try to defend him as they know he's wrong. Granted I have no idea why they like him or anything like that, but I just wanted to state that not all his fans, again, no ide why he has any, actually defend him.

She is basically a doll programmed to act a certain way; he could easily make her act however he wishes. He wants her to act like she hates him, not because she actually does. He made her act like Yosano (potentially a bit like Dazai too). We saw in the past that she is emotionless and doesn't act anything like she does now; she only started acting this way after the Yosano incident. We see he can also change her age in the Beast manga, as she is an adult there. It is weird because he made her act like a child. Yosano, it is weird because she is based on a real child and looks like one. But Elise herself isn't a real child; she isn't 'hurt' by Mori. I always feel like making her seem like one of the children Mori hurts when she isn't; she is incapable of being hurt by him. She is whatever he wishes her to be. She is Mori, and Mori is her. You are saying she exists, and that is why it is weird while making her act like she actually cares. She is incapable of actually caring. Mori likes her insulting and mocking him. weird, but it is like people programming a game character to act how they like. It gets weird because of how she looks and the fact that she is based on a real person. She herself isn't hurt. I find it discredits the actual kids Mori hurt by saying his own ability is the same as what they went through, when they aren't. (One was an actual child, and the other is an unfeeling ability Mori made to look and act that way.)

also even in the manga it was said that he likes little girls, yes his character is a joke character, but if it was real life, it wouldn't be so funny and I get that his irl author isn't a pedophile and mori actually hasn't $@'s anyone but his character is really weird. Just because Elise is an ability doesn't mean that Mori didn't make have a emotions or a personality that he liked, theres a reason why mori has elise act this way, it's because he likes it that way and thats what is being explored theough the reaction vid, a realistic(ish) attempt to have elise be a child that tries to hide her emotions to ot have herself taken advantage of. It's not supposed to be canon, if it was, it wouldn't have anything for elise to do, it says so it the warnings before hand and it's obvious that most bsd fans aren't going to immediately see an ability but and ability that looks like a child, which makes it rlly uncomfortable and weird
