I've noticed a lot of these big daddy cosplayers have to make ridiculous costumes in order to be in scale with a teenage little sister. why not scale the costume down to their normal size and use an actual little girl? also, why aren't there any big daddy rosies?

Usually, when a child dresses up as a character, they know where it's from. How many 6-8 year-olds know, or /should/ know Bioshock? Probably none. Bioshock isn't exactly appropriate for children. Older girls may cosplay as a Little Sister because they've played the game(s) and simply want to. I think you don't see many Rosies because the Bouncer type is more recognizable. It was on the front cover of the first Bioshock, after all. Hope this helped in answering your questions. :)

It was 2500 bucks to build with built in fans and the drill actually spun. They did not win but got 2nd place with Noooooooo reward! 2013 the prizes for first place was 10,000 2nd was 5,000 dollars.

And this is why we won't enter anymore masquerades at AX. My brother and I were really upset that after all that work we only received some autographs, stuffed animals, and a plastic trophy. Hopefully a different con will be able to give out reward money for all our hard work. ~Little Sister
