NOTE: BADGE NOT FOR SALE! Just want something added to my personal collection.
July 1st would have been Day 0 and I would have been on my way to stand in line and chill at around 6 am on a Wednesday morning. Some of us otakus are feeling the blues ever since Anime Expo announced their cancellation this year due to the pandemic. While this is a downer, there has been a surge of virtual conventions popping up in place of their physical conventions. Anime Expo since has launched their own convention badge for their Twitter and Instagram sweepstakes campaign that you can print for FREE. A few of us, myself included, didn’t bother to enter the sweepstakes but instead add it to our anime convention badge collection.
Pretending that AX is still “going”, I’ve decided to make it better than just printing it on paper. Unfortunately, I replaced my printer last year that is capable of printing oversize IDs (never used that feature, ever), nor do I have either vinyl sheets or photo sticker paper. And I didn’t have time to buy blank ID cards. Being the modder that I am (thank you, MacGyver), I had old cards lying around I used for other projects and glossy photo paper. The project took about 2 days when you include the drying process. There are countless ways in making a badge, this is just one of the ways!

While not from LoFi Girl herself, the music genre has slowly crept into the anime scene since Samurai Champloo and Toonami in late 90’s/early 2000’s. LoFi is good for studying and working on small projects, right? Which is why you should support this rising artist that I got the background music from!
