@@adamaulia1945 its about hospitality and anger.if you translate it as it is then its not confusing for us viewer and easy to understand; the pun in 0:17 > "without hospitality the only thing left is anger". (from my point of view) the translation for en hologra is getting worst.

@@hello-im I mean, it is incredibly difficult to translate puns. Especially word plays. Like you either try to keep the meaning in which case the pun stops working as the words are not similar in English and it isn't funny anymore or you try to keep it a funny pun, which most likely requires you to change the actual meaning of the words. They could have translated it more closely to the meaning and it would make it more understandable, sure. But I don't think it could still work as a comedy show as intended.

Polka in general plays both roles quite well depending on the situation, but I love HoloGra's choice of straight man. Marine, for example, has been a straight man in HoloGra often enough to be one of my favorites.

It has been a while since two things: 1) That Hologra went so hard on the puns that the translation team just gave up entirely. 2) They leaned hard into Aki's alien half-elven lore (to have her do something absurd) Has a nostalgic feel to it.
