I'm currently rewamping the difficulty ratings trying to earn that third hardest Anime Quiz YT-er title everyone seems to hang on me.

I just find quizzes fun and wanted to contribute to the ones who like them as well. I marked every source, you can find it in the spreadsheet.

The openings start from the beginning. Only skipped the starting speech (if it had one) or the instrumental if it started with 5+ sec silence.
You can score it with 1 for each.
The openings are separated into 3 segments.
Every segment gets harder to guess.
You will have ~10-15 sec to guess.
If you liked the quiz, please don't forget to give it a like and leave a comment with your score to help the algorithm so others can find the video as well. If you have any criticism don't be hesitant to write it in the comments, I can assure you that I read them and from your suggestions, I'll try to make these videos as good as I can.

well the first 3rd was meant to be relatively, after that... yeah I do try to feature a wide array of anime

Hm, the thumbnail... I think I know who that is though I'm not 100%, as a _lot_ of characters have blonde hair and blue eyes. Hell, even just those individual traits separately are common. But the guitar being there does give me confidence it's the girl I think. ...Okay I've figured out how to make decent preamble now. #1 _Maru de otogi no hanashi_ oh, cool #2 ...Did they do a (technically partial) namedrop...? Yup, seems so~! #3 Even with just the first voice... I know there aren't many openings that start with spoken lines, and certainly not with such a short line. So... I didn't even need to hear all five...~ Oh it was the special not s2. Meh still got the show right, even if I didn't hit the right song. #4 This... is not familiar at all... oh. Right... I... I see... Yeah never woulda guessed. I think I even kinda forgot an anime by this name existed...~ #5 ...Action ecchi style is strong... I don't think it's a Date A Live one, so for it to be easy then... mm, it does sound like that one. oh When will I associate their new vocalist with the name...~? I do like this song, especially since it's a like... truer rock than their others but damn the vocalist is so different I can't connect her to it their name at all...~ #6 No idea, maybe... yay. #7 ugh #8 Now which opening again...? OH it's not even the show or artist I was thinking. Uhhhh... yeah never woulda guessed...~ #9 ...nano.RIPE is _never_ easy... #10 this is so familiar I feel like I'd get if there were vocals... never mind. This is a lesser known opening of the show, I think...~ #11 Cool background, honestly kinda eh seeming song that I... do not recognise...~ oh the song that, when given the lyrics, I misread the title drop and get confused 'cause the rest of the lyrics are clearly _not_ LOVE NO HATE #12 this feels familiar... wait why... moreso why is the artist name familiar...? #13 Ah there~ #14 ...Why so familiar...? Yeah literally why. #15 ...Wait what HUH?! _ahem_ Somehow I don't think I can be much of an authority on the subject of this song's difficulty, since I could probably get it from any randomly chosen one second sample, but I think most of my surprise came from how early it cropped up...~ #16 Now we go from "great song with boring as hell animation" to "awful song with cool seeming animation"... hm~ #17 ...No surprises I did not get this one...~ #18 Maybe that show? Ah no... I didn't know anything else fhana has done...~ #20 Okay now this is _definitely_ a bit early I feel- oh dear no what the _hell_ are the hard songs gonna be like if medium has not just multiple non-Love Live Bushiroad songs, but freakin' an _ARGO/Cardfight_ song... haha...~ #21 Why so familiar... ah this _might_ have been a show that piqued my interest through the opening. _Might._ #22 this... this in hard... while ARGO/Cardfight goes in medium? Ooookay... I mean I guess with this sample I can see why but... with a more standard sample it would definitely be the other way around I feel...~ #23 oh this thing... I think this isn't _that_ one so it is in my planning but I think I mix this and some other music anime a lot so I dunno... oh no this is _that_ one yeah I always mix it up with a different one I actually will watch #24 ...sounds older... huh, it's... not... hm. #25 I was right to dread hard. ...The subtle namedrop right after guessing is over- #26 I feel like I know this singer at least... never mind. #27 I was so, _so_ right to dread hard. #28 This is so familiar... wait no those vocals remove the familiarity. #30 Oh... familiar... never mind. 10/30, 5/10 easy, 4/10 medium, 1/10 hard. The fact three of the four medium songs I got were because music anime is... indicative of the general difficulty level here, I feel...~

I think it is just the usual Rural, naive, maybe less technologically inclined, innocent base character design... #1 had to start with something easy :) #2 yes they do, trying to ease into the diff curve :P #3 yeh kinda the telling although if you don't recognise the voices it might be harder #4 it somewhat feels weird for me the Inori does a lot of mid songs, and then once every couple years come out with a banger (like this or wishing) #5 I just like this vocalist much more... also I would accept it if you say it is an action ecchi, just by that weird maid #6 Mili default if you recognise the artist :P #7 wow jojohate (never seen the show, and wouldn't say I like this song) #9 btw have they used a different drummer for this one? it sounds to have a way more competent rhythm than other nano.ripes #10 it was in the 2nd 6th I think #11 I wont say anything to not ruin it then :P #12 no idea #13 yep #14 no idea #15 as I said I rewamped diffs because half of my songs were in hard now, #20 is the one I fell more unsure about #16 something like that #18 well this song might be overused a little in the future since I did watch the show with people in the otaclub and it is surprisingly good #20 as I said I was feeling the most conflicted about this one (that's why it is the last), but yeah hard will be HARD #21 it definitely has a nice opening with both song and visuals in the chorus part aw #22 only instrumental sample it is def harder, also more people heard about Cardfight than this show #27 I somewhat felt like this might should've been earlier (wasn't the first choice, that was worldblocked) #28 and somewhat afraid of this since it is a 'sequel' of a show that was rather known back in the day at least the curve seems okay, but yeah as now there are more than a thousand openings in my library and from them around 500 'hard' I needed to rearrange the diffs a little bit (at least it wont get repetitive anytime soon) ig it turns too much into a sharo style "first 10% is quiz, the other 90 is just listening to anime songs" just let me know [to my defense I try to select only the relatively good ones]

@@Franktamas #3 Thing is, I don't think I have any reason to recognise Kana Hanazawa's voice...~? #5 I do like the new vocalist but I just can't link her with the group...~ #6 Basically yeah...~ #9 I would have no clue. #10 ...huh? #11 At first I was confused by this then I realised you were probably solely talking about the background...~ #15 Mm... #20 yeah #22 Mm, definitely... Wait really? I swear I've seen more people bring this up and I've _definitely_ noticed more people who've seen this than who have seen Cardfight...~

@@Rinko-hoshi #10 how well it did in the PR #11 yeah sorry, meant it for the background #22 well I only ever heard of it because of teh letter quizzes while cardfight has new seasons and it is somewhat talked about even by people who just call it discound YU-GI-OH!
