funny thing is Re:Monster is manga wise pre-dates a large portion of the isekai genre including that time I got recarnated as a slime.

The manga is actually pretty decent especially it came out a long time ago but fuck I knew the anime wouldn't live up to the manga

@@TheBoomerBase it's just my expectations like a lot my fave reads are getting animes this season like "Fable" haven't watched yet but excited for "Gogo loser ranger" doing pretty good from what I've seen and lastly "Kaiju no 8" it's doing great like chainsaw man and AOT so I love they getting attention

@jonathanwhitfield4561 I get that. I think give this one some more time and I'm sure it will bloom well. I'm enjoying kaiju tbf. I'm looking forward to more viral hit and windbreaker but my new fave show I stumbled across the other day which I'm now caught up on is Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy

From doing some further research it seems that ReMonster manga came out before slime so in theory slime is a spin off of Remonster xD but what you have said is exactly what I was thinking

Re:Monster is trash edgy and cringe but I it was refreshing when it release it was a new gender the Isekai monster.
