Well, normally you put the title on the front, and the synopsis on the back of a book, right? And Manga books are read from right to left unlike other books. So clearly there was a mixup and they're confusing the titles with the synopsis

There is a very simple explanation for this. Most of if not all of the newer gen anime are sourced from web novels which are serialised into light novels with a very small number of the titles coming from official publications like jump. Most web novels are published in two sites Kakuyomu and Syosetsu. In these sites, a large number of aspiring novelists are competing for views to the point where most Japanese readers are bombarded with options and doesn't like to read the synopsis. So the authors put the synopsis in the title to attract attention.

Started in the mid to late 2000s with light novels having their entire premise being their titles.

To list another example, imagine if Naruto was called "That time I got a powerful Demon stuck inside me and used it to become Hokage" If anyone else wants to list anymore examples then be my guest. Anime nowadays have titles so long that even turning their titles into abbreviations make long titles. Like TTIGRAAS (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime). Sure you could call the abbreviation 'tee tee eye grass' or call the anime 'Slime' to make it easy, but you get what I mean right?
