I actually sold off the old digipak sets for these condense sets. The old sets really really took up a lot of space. And the inside of the boxes didn't contain much of any art anyways.

I would like to pickup the complete series of InuYasha because it is a good series that I enjoy watching. Nice anime unboxing video and its these old box dvd sets I wish I can find from Inuyasha maybe eBay but they will charge you a lot for it.

I just bought the limited edition on season 1 of inuyasha for $0.99 on eBay I didn't think much of it till watching this video cause I did watch inuyasha years ago but I just got back into it so I just though oh ok I'll buy it it was a dollar. but I guess I got a very good bagain........

So the bigger box sets didn't really have any much in the way of additional artwork or extras on the discs themselves? They seem like they would've been a waste of money and space then. These condensed versions are easily better.

167+26=193 episodes including the 4 movies. So u were close but its a little under 200 episodes ^_^

I actually thought this was an unboxing of the manga. XD Inuyasha's manga was the first I read of the series, and I greatly enjoyed it! I'm currently watching the anime as well, and am on episode.... 2. =_= I'll settle for watching the episodes on Netflix (there's only the first 2 seasons, then the movies) and on KZfaq. :P

Hi, I know this video is old but did you happen to check the dvd settings on your pc or mac when you put it in? You can check the region of the dvd. They are supposed to be region 1. I got this exact set a few months ago. The quality looks identical to yours and and video quality itself is excellent. I also ordered from Canada. To my disappointment, I put the dvd in my laptop and checked the settings. It said it was all 8 regions(a HUGE sign a dvd is not authentic). I"m curious if yours says the same when you check the region settings. The quality is so nice, I never suspected the set to be counterfeit(well maybe the awesome price was a hint). Who knows. Or maybe viz just didn't care about keeping the dvds region 1.

Apparently these ones are fake and not as good as the original Boxsets licensed by Viz Media. The fight scenes blurr on this version and the subtitles don't work correctly on this version
