I just realized DIO means "god" and diavolo means "devil" meaning part 5 is literally God's son fighting the devil, that's why the opening has so much suff about praying

JoJo's is deep man , we should start analysing part 5 in schools instead of these old-English poems . Also , Golden Wind has themes of destiny and causality and Diavolo's perspective on fate , where he erases free will from other people by skipping time and only leaving the end result which is controlled by only him using Epitaph . He thought he could control destiny by erasing free will , which is shown in the Diavolo's version of Traitor's Requiem opening where he says "No one can escape the fate set for them" implying that he controls destiny using King Crimson . But this led to his downfall when fate itself decided he was not worthy to receive the Requiem he longed for and that he would "never reach the truth" which meant that he would be unable to reach even death

There's a certain phenomenon that I call "JoJo's bizzare opening" which is simple, the first time you hear any you might not really like it or care the second time you're indifferent by the fourth time you're like "it's ok" by the sixth you actually start liking the song and by the 8th time you start praising the song and finally by the 10th you start dedicating rituals to the song

I love how in the lyrics it talks about how even after someone succumbs to their fate they can still have a dying wish called “golden wind” that can still make everything have a different outcome. Really shows that with the deaths of the part 5 characters, they weren’t killed for no reason. They just lost to their fate. But their dying wish “golden wind” will carry on through giorno.

A lot of people criticising part 5 for having an underdeveloped plot doesn't understand it's themes of destiny and causality and how Diavolo's view on fate , where is erases free will from other people by skipping time and only leaving the end result which is controlled by only him using Epitaph . He thought he could control destiny by erasing free will , which is shown in the Diavolo's version of Traitor's Requiem opening where he says "No one can escape the fate set for them" implying that he controls destiny using King Crimson . But this led to his downfall when fate itself decided he was not worthy to receive the Requiem he longed for and he would "never reach the truth" which meant that he would be unable to reach even death . If only I analysed poetry in high school as much as I analyse JoJo's lol
