I don't understand why so many people are so stunned after seeing Gojo's "comeback". So many hints, so many references, so many points were pretty much presented in the manga that indicated that Gojo would come back someway or the other in the manga, either him coming back as himself and not as strongest sorcerer anymore (binding vow or any other thing responsible), or him coming back as soul or cursed spirit or cursed corpse....the way Gojo's life has been represented, the way the airport scene was executed, the way Gojo's references kept on coming back.......literally there were plenty of hints and even symbolisms Gege used. It made sense why chapter 236 actually had way more questions than answers and due to that, that chapter felt so strange in many ways, as if there was something more to that. I kept saying plenty of times that chapter 236 would make sense only if he comes back, some way or the other, whether he is himself or there are some twists with him, his presence in the battle was bound to happen and Gege made it like that. Gege has been really good with foreshadowing and symbolisms (which a lot of people have missed out often), so yeah.....I am rather happy to see him again. Not really surprised because it was bound to happen, some way or the other, but yes, I am happy to see him.

I think this coincides very well with what gege akutami said, about the series ending with either only one of the 4 ppl (from gojo, megumi, yuji and nobara) surviving or 3 of the 4 ppl surviving. As we know Nobara is already dead, but somehow it may be possible that gojo survived, yuji lives through the fight with sukuna and they save megumi, making it so the latter comes true instead of the former. Again this is only my theory, and something I hope that happens, it also kind of explains why gojo is seen here(illusion or real).

For a long time, I’ve been basically ignoring folks like Uraume who have been hyping up Sukuna; given their obvious and extreme bias, I felt they could very easily be a classic case of “unreliable narrator”, put there to lead us astray from the straightforward truth that Sukuna is quite simply struggling. It’s nice to see that idea becoming real. Yuta may have a massive pool of power, but Yuji’s reserves are actually fairly comparable to Yuta’s at this point, so it’s no big deal.

My crazy hipotesis is that Yuji has de ability, with his blood, to create hallucination, the same way Todou expirience it, thinking that he was his brother. Maybe by grabing them or making contact with sukuna´s flesh or blood he can impose an hallucination, maybe as a part of an hability of one of the cursed wombs he ate. And that is sukuna's biggest fear, that gojo returns, and that's why he is seeing Gojo. But call me crazy I don't now.

Gojo told toji when they fought that the only reason he didn't die was because toji didn't put the cursed tool through his head or cut it off. So i believe gojo might have been able to use reverse cursed technique. Since sukuna cut his body in half and not his head.

We've been seeing Gojo in the flashbacks a lot lately, what if he has been alive and just watching from wings? I think he is alive but part of his "rebirth"was in him growing as a leader and teacher who will now allow his students to lead. By no longer feeling the loneliness he once felt he has 100% trust they will accomplish what he couldn't do alone.

Hmm… I mean there has never been a blood manipulation domain (even kenjaku didn’t seem to use any kind of blood manipulation with his) and it has never even been thought about, there wasn’t ever any talk about even with Kamo or choso trying to figure out a domain during the time skip which would make me think that it isnt possible to imbue blood manipulation into a domain. So if you think about it that way the best “imbuement” for yuji would be his soul perception which might come off as illusion.
