I believe Virat is an honest and humble person and he answered the question straightforwardly, without any intention of teaching Modi or the audience a lesson. Virat is admired globally not only just for his cricket skills but also for his excellent character. I think that anyone with strong discipline is usually morally upright. In my opinion, discipline and morality go hand in hand; discipline naturally fosters morality, and Virat exemplifies this with his disciplined nature. However, in disguise Modi did get a lesson of humility. At the end of the day, Modi is just an ordinary human being. The only difference is that he currently holds power, but that won’t last forever. Instead, they must prove through their conduct and decisions that they are worthy of it. People earn respect by demonstrating qualities such as compassion, integrity, honesty, kindness, competence. Give and feel the joy of giving.
