Dignitaries from different realms are conferred with Padma Awards, one of the highest civilian awards of the country on May 09 at Rashtrpati Bhawan in Delhi. The awards are conferred in three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri which are given in various disciplines and fields of activities like art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service.

Padma Shri in the field of Social Work to Dr. K. S. Rajanna. He is known for his work for the welfare of Divyangjan. Despite having lost his hands and feet in childhood, he has made spectacular achievements in various fields. He has provided employment to hundreds of people and helped thousands of Divyangjan become self-reliant.When KS Rajanna was just 11 months old, he lost his hands and legs to polio. Despite his young age, he refused to let his physical disability hinder him from living life to the fullest and achieving his goals. KS Rajanna pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, established his own enterprise where he employed people with disabilities, won a gold medal in discus throw and a silver medal in swimming, and eventually was appointed as the Karnataka State Commissioner for the Disabled. Throughout his life, KS Rajanna has been an advocate for the rights and empowerment of people with disabilities. He was conferred the Padma Shri award in recognition of his resilience and determination to enhance the lives of people with disabilities across India. Congratulations, KS Rajanna!

The grassroots level people are also getting recognition and Padma awards 👏🏻👏🏻. During Khangress regime mostly Durbari people and persons picked by the fake Gandhi family used to get this award. The Padma awards have become truly democratic in Modified Bharat 👌🏻👏🏻🇮🇳
