there is two things that i find strange in this movie 1.in the japanese version why does Sophie calls the witch of the wast Grandmother its not even her grandmother 2. when sophie turned young again in the end of the film why did her hair still remained silver grey why did it not turn to brown how it was.

iirc when Howl joins the fight, Sophie assumes he cannot stop fighting because they are in the house/town, and decide to "move out" (transfer Calucifer/magic) from the oldhome/castle to the wasteland. However, this doesn't bring him back, because Howl also wanted to protect Sophie's house. So they rebuild the castle and go after him.

Loved this movie, however the book was sooooo much better. A lot was changed and left out unfortunately. All three books in this trilogy are amazing.

I’m still trying to understand when and how in the movie did Sophie’s curse break, I started getting confused when she gave a lock of hair to calcifer because her old version has short hair and because her hair was still gray I thought she was still old? And none of the other characters pointed out when her curse was broken if it was
