This was Anita's first solo hit. Then she ran into problems with Beverly Glen which kept her from releasing new material until 1986. When Rapture dropped, the public lost their minds. That lp remains her best work. Anita was also an outstanding live act. I'm so sorry you missed it. ;)

My favotite Anita Baker song! Believe it was her first hit. At least on the west coast in L.A. I remember listening to this on The Quite Storm KJLH Great times!😊
