You are right in a way. People come here aspiring for a better life and half of them suffer. Other half don't enjoy their life and just want to save money. What better than living happily and these people are. They have a lifestyle which probably cannot be afforded by many locals and migrants, but I am sure they have worked hard to get here and enjoying the fruits of their hardwork I do not think this video was to belittle others or make other feel jealous of them and their lifestyle. She just showcased her monthly budget and there are more migrants in this countries like us who need more money every month because of their life choices. That does not mean they are showing off or downplaying others

How is US any better? In US u end up paying soo much for children’s education and medical cost which is outrageous, whereas its all free in UK. Also wife on Dependent viza is not even allowed to work or contribute to house expenses. Have lived in US for 6 years and now in UK.

@@joshnajosheru It always depends upon each one's perspective. We already lived in USA between 2008-2011 for 3+ years(after marriage). My husband worked in Europe before our marriage (2003-2007). Now, we are living in USA for second time since 2019. I agree with the medical expenses, it's definitely expensive here. But, my 10 year old daughter is studying in public school here in USA, we don't pay fees. It's completely free (taken as taxes, we r in rented apartment, so we don't pay anything separately). Now, we both are working. I work with EAD here. When coming to expenses, we can save a lot here compared to other countries. Income and Sales tax is also comparatively less here. There are so many negatives here in USA, but while coming to savings, we can save more. Everything what I mentioned is totally from our own opinion. I talked only about savings. We too don't like so many things here and we too have struggles. But, while coming to savings, we feel like we can save a lot more than what we can save in UK & other countries after seeing this video. You may like UK more than USA. That's your opinion/perspective.😊

padma shini i am not favouring UK over US,both have their own plus and minus. I am only talking from the expenses and savings perspective, because our savings here in UK in 1 year is equal to our savings in US after 6 years. We follow same lifestyle, only exception is no car expenses now because of the excellent transportation in UK and we go on more Europe trips. I love US for many other reasons but expense and savings is not one of them. Anyways for each their own, isnt it ☺️✌️

In US if we dont work for a company but have own business the health insurance itself is a huge killer at least $700-2000 for good insurance for family of 4. Plus property and state taxes especially if you live in the Bay Area is another killer. A small apartment property tax is around $6000 per annum!. Imagine a 2 million dollar house which is the norm here in certain Bay Area with good schools. Plus university/college fees for kids upto $250000 per annum if its medicine and the fees is going up. In the UK healthcare is taken from your taxes already so no extra health insurance unless you want to.
