actually there's alot of chinese joke in this anime 6:15 where the dog sang, it's becuz he refers himself as Mad bark ( 汪瘋 ) in chinese Mad bark ( 汪瘋 ) sounds similar to Wang Feng (汪峰) A chinese Singer, and seven is actually singing a song of his, as a refrence of Mad bark

In the Chinese dub, with the mad bark thing. When he said his name and started singing is because in Chinese, crazy bark sounds like 汪峰which is the name of a famous song artist and seven was singing one of his songs there in the Chinese dub

@@SevenChakras I loved it, personally. The first half a little more than the second. First half more comedy, second part more action oriented. If you've seen/liked anime with OP protagonists, you'll probably like it.

I think opm or mob is a better comparison to scissor seven. Good crazy fight animation, weird sometimes meta humour, set in a world with high potential world building and there are some emotional, sad features to most episodes that ground the anime.

I REALLY loved this series!!! Season 1 and season 2 were just SOOOOOO GOOD! and now, that I kinda watched the first episode again... I just wanna rewatch this show xD there are so many things going on, so many jokes, so many hilarious things... I kinda forgot about half of it and it is hilarious even now, that I know how it ends xD

Scissor Seven has a lot of Mob Psycho 100 vibes. Unique animation style, mix of comedy and action, a lot of heart underneath - if you liked MP100, def check it out.

I love the english voice charcter for 7 ... it's like the perfect slacker layback guy voice and it fits him perfectly... i love all their voice acting in the English version. I love this show and it's awesome!

Guys this show is amazing, and everything changes so drastically by season 3/end of season 2. Season 3 is now on Netflix and I definitely recommend you guys check it out, and give the Chinese dub with subs a try. Probably one of my favourite shows this year.

Oh yeah. If I remember correctly, Scissor 7 has the martial art director of Naruto and are the best at directing fight scene that includes martial arts. Though I think they left Naruto since there was a conflict of some sort. Nonetheless, they still produce and directs great animation in fight scene that are so fluid and clean and is not overwhelming since they themselves knows a lot about martial arts.

I doubt that. In an interview with the director of Scissor Seven, he pointed out that they had a small team and everyone had to multi-task because of budget. The director himself took on several roles including voice acting Seven, editing and other stuff. The OST and all the key fight scenes were made by one specific animator in their team. Unless they hired the martial art director later on, I don’t see how they had that kind of budget.
