Shame that SET manipulated to eliminte thos rare gem Anjali. . In broad public view. There should be a public enquiry on how this show was fixed. They openly worked to suppress Anjali's chances from.the word go. They gave her one song and that too at last of every episode. All their fabourite singers would get 3 to 4 songs . Scandolous. They blanked out all her songs. They misspelt her name. THer v9deos would call her Contestant and avoid naming her. They gave her no promos. India demands an explanation for deliberately ruining the chances of this gem of an artiste.

All such singing reality shows on television are meant only for searching of background singing talent and not for classical talent. It is not feasible to any reality show to showcase pure classical talent due to time restrictions and TRP matters.

Anjali sings pure indian classical Raags too very well and there is huge talent in India for classical and they perform on platforms like doordarshan or All India Radio. All India Radio and many other institutes hold competition for classical singers where singers present one or more Raag selected by judges from the list provided by candidate for duration 10 mins - 1 hour. Anjali has participated in many such competitions and thats the perfect platform for classical.

What Anjali is singing is not pure classical. Its semi-classical form. Please understand the difference between Indian classical and semi-classical. Just putting alap and taan in any song doesn't make it classical. Pure indian classical includes performing Khyal or bandish in any Raag. It doesn't emphasize only on voice quality and taan speed but the content put in the format of alap and other beats cycle and rythm handling skills are also more important.

Hello Priya ji.. apne bilkul hi sahi kaha... anjali classical singer hai aur itni kam umar me bahut accha classical pesh karti hai... par indian idol me jo uski peshkash thi vo semi-classical aur light music ki thi. aur vo bhi unhone bahut acchi tarah se ki. anjli ke peshkash ko pyar karna hai to indian idol ke alava bhi karna chahiye.. in case of classical singing.
