A lot of you will probably already know about my love of Soundcore. Well in this video, we'll be checking out one of Anker's lesser-known divisions: Nebula. This in-depth review of the new Cosmos covers all of the features, image and sound quality and the overall value it offers.
*update: Nebula are updating their specifications to use ANSI Lumen - so for this projector it is 810 ANSI Lumens.

Thanks a lot! I actually set the projector up on my tripod for the sake of the video. For a more long term solution i'd perhaps try and place it on a side table - but sadly I don't actually have a dedicated stand (other than the tripod)

Excellent review, I am in two minds now. Limited storage and no airplay being an issue. Would you suggest any alternatives at a similar price point?

Thank you! To be perfectly honest, decent AirPlay-supported projectors are hard to find, and i've not personally tested one yet so i'd feel uneasy to recommend one at the moment. I'm sorry, I realise how totally unhelpful that is!

How did you get the Netflix app running? I only got some weird Touchscreen version when downloading it through the nebula manager

It looks like the guidance has changed now and there is a way to navigate it through the app on your phone. Does this fully replace the remote though? Can you not still use the regular remote for it?

What's the maximum projection screen size without zooming in?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by 'without zooming in', because it depends on how far you place the projector away from the projection surface. But the maximum screen size is 120 inches

Can you sit 2,3 Meters away and still get 100" screen? Can you also put the Projector a bit to the sides or does it have to stay in the middle?

Yes and yes. My setup was about 3 metres away giving 100" screen size. You can also have the projector at the side and use the correction to make the image appear flat

Damn nice, cus my room if i put it in the middle is max 2,3m, but if i put it beside my bed i can have over 4m. That sounds nice, gonna order it now for 699€ :) Thank you very much and left you a sub! Oh and forget to ask, did you try gaming? Like on a Console, how about the lag?

Thanks a lot! Yes, I certainly tried gaming, hopefully you saw quite a lot of that in the video. In game mode with a PS4 Pro, there was no lag - it's very good for gaming in that regard!

How much is the input lag in game mode?

Almost none - well below the threshold for game mode on a tv or equivalent monitor. Not as good as a professional/gaming monitor, but good enough for console gaming for sure

You can download Air Screen App. I mirror my iPhone and play content from my phone to the projector like Airplay, it appears on your device like Miracast. Works well for me.

Just returned my Projector, in total it's nice, fast and does a good sharp picture. But the biggest problem is that even if you use it in a dark room, the movies always look very dark and animated movies like minions or animes in total look very dark and not colourful. The speakers sounded ok. But im gonna return it. My 399€ Beamer Xiaomi Smart Projector had a better picture brightness and more colours. For 700€ i expect something good.

Yes! You don't get the easy set up process at start like on Android, but it's still easy enough and all the other features work fine

I think it's still good as an all in one device. But I recently reviewed their Capsule 3 Laser on the channel and I now find it hard to recommend the cosmos instead. @insidetechltd Hi Thanks for the advice and reply to both messages. The capsule looks good but at 300ANSI seems maybe too low for day to day usage. Maybe more suited for students or people who travel a lot. The cosmos comes in at 900 ANSI lumens - nearly tripe the amount. But lot older then the current projectors available like capsule and xgimi. Thanks for the help, trying to save and get best value 👍

That's a very valid point. One thing I would say is that the laser tech does offset the lumens difference. The contrast it brings really helps. But even so I expect you'll want something with a bit more brightness either way. Sorry I couldn't be much help, I hope you find a good one though!

I think it looks a little bit better in real life, but only just. It's not the brightest projector in the world
