I received the black version last week and I’m impressed, what a difference it made to my video.

great video, very impressed by the quality of the audio. I picked one up today, reduced price.. didnt realise it will record audio too.. So easy to setup. Only thing is the clip on the cord end fell off, but baga are easy enough to replace.

It literally doesn't turn them off when you close it. You have to turn one off, and keep it in your pocket if you want to only use one. You can't even turn the thing off from inside the case without closing it. The best I can figure out is you have to turn it off in the case, while having one microphone flipped around so the pins don't touch. But that also probably isn't good for the prongs/springs.

Great audio! The wireless lav market is bulging right now. So much choice with little audio difference IMO. I have a Fulaim X5 which I love but the Anchor has a much better LED screen and adjustable noise cancellation. And Anchor is a well established name associated with quality.

What's the latency added by the wireless connection? (How many milliseconds)

After the device was delivered yesterday, the enthusiasm is completely gone today. After the firmware update (recommended in the description), the device can no longer be started. And I urgently need it for a production tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the reciever charge/stay charged when its plugged with usb-c on a computer? It might be an ideal solution for a wireless mic setup for streaming/gaming. can be mounted to antyhing with magnets, clipped to clothing or gear, and when 1 mic fails you take the other out. but it wont work if the reciever needs to recharge every 6 orso hours, even though its connected trough usb.

We have tried numerous connections with a newer model Samsung phone. We plugged in the Anker Work Mic, and then we tried replacing immediately after recording on the phone. Do we have to separately download the audio then synch in a video editor? Or what might be going wrong? We can't hear the sound at all after recording.

can you use them for a wireless mic and speaker. if u are howting an event inside and u are not making a video

Thanks for your review. This mic is not the best mic for creators by any measure. I am very curious about this mic but the name Anker on the front of the mic ruins it for me. I couldn't possibly use it in an interview to be broadcast . It would create a problem . TVs don't do free marketing/merchandising. It's also no good if the shooter just wants a cleaner look with no names on the screen. I think it's a big mistake that many companies are making because they are limiting the use of their mics to non professional productions only or whatever people do with this kind of mic. I thought to put the clip on the front would be an option seeing that the mic is on the top of the 'button' but the clip also has the name Anker on it! Maybe you can use the mic without the shield with the name on it? Even then, I've just found out something that makes a mic pretty useless for any serious work: The magnetic clip. So how are you going to interview a woman wearing a dress? Are you going go ask her to pass the clip all the way under her dress and then connect it to the mic? This set up is worse than using wired lavaliere mics. It's walking backwards. Yes, you could connect a wired lavaliere to the transmitter but a lav mic is not included so the Anker kit will be even more expensive than already is. Besides, it would mean the talking head would need to put the transmitter on with the magnetic clip and also hide the cable. A really messy set up. Moreover, to use the mic with the furry screen will make people look at the mic, not the face of the person talking. I have Anker cables.They are super fast. But I will pass on their mics. I am sorry but Ankerwork mic is a really bad choice.
