Looks like he caused the ankle injury by kicking the peroneal nerve search it up Kick landed at 1:28

There are fighters and there are fighters. I was a fan of Michael but that put me over the top, his ankle is worming around like silly putty and he's doing everything he can to move in a forward direction and punch, ignore the ankle, fight. Few people have that kind of drive and determination - and he was pissed that they stopped it. Hell yeah. If you're a true fight fan you have got to be in awe of Chandler's display of f*ing grit, that night especially. Everything else set aside, Michael Chandler is a fighter.

@@philthyco1 Look up "peroneal nerve damage dropped foot." The initial injury is from a kick at 1:27 to his peroneal nerve, to the side/back of the left knee/calf area. This is why you see his left foot kind of hang down at times (1:38, 1:46, 1:51, etc.), with little control and he can't seem to get his foot back underneath him at times. Go back to 1:26 and keep an eye on that foot only after that kick and you'll see it slightly have a problem multiple other times (in addition to the other times I mentioned). It's temporary nerve damage, loss of feeling below the knee. It wasn't an ankle injury until he tried to put more significant weight on it towards the end when it was buckled over.

Primus is the Aljo of Bellator.. Good fighter but undeserved became champion with fluke win.

Primes kicked the peroneal nerve at 1:28, this nerve controls the muscle that allows your foot to be raised upwards, so chandler lost that function from being kicked and therefore rolled his ankle. Primus caused the injury to happen
