You guys this woman is the kindest. I met her back home in Monterey CA, at a restaurant I worked at. She is so sweet. She took photos with everyone and wasn't bothered at the fact that the non speaking English cooks kept referring to her as Cindy. She is a humble being.

I've been to the Grand Canyon once while my brother was working in Gallup, New Mexico, but that was August. I'm replying because I watched an episode of _Samantha Browns's Places to Love_ on PBS a couple of days ago, and a guest of hers in a Grand Canyon episode mentioned snow in the Grand Canyon, but I figured that couldn't happen more than once a century. How frequently does it actually snow in the Grand Canyon?

Particularly the north rim in the spring, it will snow in to May. Almost no crowds. 15% of the south rim visitors.

@miyojewoltsnasonth2159 Seriously, I was in shock when I woke up to 5 inches of snow at that old hotel, which not only did we get the last room, we were on the canyon side It's a big black hole at night, no moon Next morning, no hole, all clouds My guilty pleasure is photography and I was awestruck by the contrast. It was unbelievable and breathtaking...my other half used that word!

More than you would think, actually, there's a baby grand canyon leading up to it coming from 4 corners. It's elevation is like Flagstaff I think. Not sure, but 8003 ft at one point driving down.
