@@SamanthaBaker71 there are lots and lots of other flavors beyond onions and garlic (and I loooooooove onions and garlic. All kinds). I had to train myself to reduce their use so that I could better taste the other herbs and spices. I found myself putting them in all my Italian dishes even where they were not called for. Once I left them out the dishes were more authentic. There was then a noticeable marked difference between them - not all garlic and onion. Try it for a week or two. It’s a fun exercise.

@@m.theresa1385 maybe I didn’t clarify myself, if a recipe calls for onions and garlic then I add onions and garlic. If a recipe doesn’t call for onions and garlic then I don’t use onions and garlic. I am aware of other spices and herbs as I do use them also.

As an Ari fan and just overall lover of music, performances and the MET itself, I just wish Anna Wintour would allow the release of the full Ariana Grande performances from the night in HD like SNL did literally the same night she performed. I will never understand why American museums are so expensive. I have been to famous museums in France, Italy, Greece and Turkey, plus Egypt. The average tickets were no more than 20 euros 💶! In France and Italy, tickets were average at 16 euros. Im glad to pay that price to see part of ancient history and art! In France, students with 🆔 can visit all museums for free! No wonder they are well educated. I recalled paying around $65 for a 3 weeks nation wide museums in Turkey in 2019, I must have visited 10+ museums throughout my 3 weeks all over visit, including the Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia builded by emperor Justinian!

America is a cultural wasteland and allows money to dictate the importance, relevance and value of everything. Educating and exposing its citizens to greatness that's more than ten minutes old is no longer the goal. Being exposed to art and culture is an elite pursuit these days. No one on earth should ever be too "broke" to visit a library, museum or doctor's office.

The Met museum is free to the public. They have a "suggested donation" of at least $2 at the door, but you can walk right in for nothing if you wish. That is why the Met Gala event is so important every year- it raises the necessary funds for keeping the museum going year-round, both administratively and in their restoration/preservation efforts to the pieces in their collection. They target the biggest celebs & philanthropists for the event bc they can get the largest donations from them, allowing the free entry price to remain in place for the general public.

An amazing woman, the one and only. I'm a huge fan of Anna Wintour. She held a top position in a publishing world dominated by males, got paid high wages, and made herself a brand name recognized world wide. A lot of sacrifices along the way. It’s simply an insult to the audience that she refuses to show her eyes, it exposes a person who does not want to engage in a basic social contract that we all accept as the most basic. “Look at me while I’m talking to you” give me the respect of showing me your eyes while we engage. I’m sure she takes them off when she’s talking to people she respects or who’s respect she wants! I find her unpleasant and self absorbed.
