I've met morten harket many times during his visit to London and used to come to the hotel where I used to work and i tell you, he's so laid back, philosophical human being and so lovely to speak to

I’m glad this fellow has survived and thrived since 1984 when I first heard him, I thought we had a Norwegian Elvis on our hands, I’m so happy to see he survived it all unlike so many who came much later. I’m glad he’s a living legend. What a character !

I so appreciate the fact that this is a man who knows himself very well, he does not take his fame or his looks too seriously and he has more important goals in his life than to be a celebrity.

A class act. Yes, they set high standards. He is too funny. It would be hard to sit in the same room with him and not tell him you think he is drop dead gorgeous and talented. Of course, his confidence is not based on his looks; he's got the talent to go with it. Super grounded when so many rock stars don't have a good outcome. I can see how the interviewer was struggling to compose herself. I was just informed by my grandson that I burned something on the stove watching him.

He is very intelligent, introspective, and every other positive quality a person can have.

He's a very real and honest guy. Alot of people don't really like looking at themselves on film or camera. Even some actors have said this at interviews. They are just more interested in being in the moment than preoccupied with how it's going to look on film which I find brings out the authenticity in the expression and therefore is captured in camera. Which makes him even more attractive. I totally get where he's coming from. He just happens to be a very handsome man at the same time. 👌

This sweet lady! I think that she was just overwelmed with nerves! She clearly had a major crush on him, and, in spite of it all, I like the way she asked so many unconventional questions about all the things we would like to know, and he answered them with sweet humor, and tongue and cheek!! Brilliant! He is just so intelligent, he is just so talented, and charming in every area, and modest, too about his immense GIFTS!! I really liked the questions about the fashions, but, we really didn't get a solid answer, lol. His daughter even said, he was basically so handsome and well-dressed, etc., with form fitting sexy, attractive clothes and fashions and hair, and said he looked so good back then, in the 80's and 90's!!! and Morten even admitted that he doesn't really dress "nice", and styled like that, right now.... I wish that he still wore the fitted pants, jackets, shirts, accessories, etc., because most performers are wearing street clothes, way, too casual, now, onstage. Really miss, like his daughter, Music Bands, performers dressing up, anymore! ;-)

I have been a lifelong fan of Morten Harket, and so proud that all 3 band members were Knighted with the 1st Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav for their tremendous artistic achievements. As a teenager, I sang, “...And You Tell Me”, for my audition for the local Alaskan opera production of “Camelot”. “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.” was their best masterpiece, in my humble opinion. This interview is excruciating! It shows how much of a gentleman Morten is to not have stopped it in its tracks. The interviewer is inept and most of the questions are inane. Perhaps because she was speaking in a language (English) which is obviously not her native tongue she didn’t ask the questions more intelligently. She was quite rude and she contradicted what he told her, it was as though she disbelieved him. He is being patently honest, but he showed he was uncomfortable at such intrusive questions.

Enjoyable interview. The banter was different than most interviews and gave a good perspective of who he is beyond his music and looks.

I am sure he gets quite weary of alot of the usual questions---I sense that he enjoys sharing his talents with others but as he gets older wants to give back now in other ways-- perhaps humanitarian ways? and also to explore his "self" even more than the touring route/lifestyle offers? He seems like a Soul Searcher---and will probably be still discovering and enlightening and learning throughout the rest of his life :) I love that he cares more about his "being and inner-self" than his looks :)

I felt so sorry for Morten in this interview! He has always presented himself as a shy person during interviews and things and yet she asks such personal questions and then says inappropriate things to him! Terrible interviewer.
