Established in 1836, this iconic Scottish distillery has experienced three distinct whisky-making eras and has also served as a farm. Once a proud Johnnie Walker distillery that closed in 1918 but was magnificently revived with a £12.5 million investment. Production restarted on 3rd November 2014, and the Annandale Distillery and Visitor Centre were officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal on 10th September 2015.

n.b. Whilst I paid for my place on the group distillery tour, It is with Special Thanks to the Annandale Distillery Company for allowing me to film on their premises to put together this video (some parts and processes have been edited out). Their kindness made this project possible as I realised that nobody else had made a KZfaq video of the site. I was not remunerated in any way.
If you’re in the area, be sure to check them out at Annandale Distillery, Northfield, Annan, Dumfries & Galloway, DG12 5LL or www.annandaledistillery.com
