Nice work! Glad you started at Besisahar! Can l ask respectfully why you didn't complete the circuit n instead finish in Jomsom? I found those last few days past Jomsom unreal!! Well done with your humility and love for Nepal n its people!!!

Hi Humbert, thank you for your kind words The guides I went with had planned the route so the start and finish points were fixed. I may go to Mera peak, do you have any tips for that?

@@Gosai1 Okay fair enough...thanks. Mera Peak looks enticing. I'm brand new to this, just did the ACT mostly solo in December and early January, and coming back again in April.

Great video. I'm going in late March with a friend to do part of ACT. We'll likely have ~9-10 days of trekking. Having gone with guides, would you say it's still doable without Guides? And do you have a link for the sleeping blanket you brought? I have a sleeping bag but am worried it might be too bulky for my 55L backpack. Cheers

You can hire sleeping blankets in Kathmandu , but a liner will also help and is relative small to pack . Hope you have a great time on your trek , you will love it

Hi, what equipment gear do you recommend to buy prior to reaching Nepal? Also, any brands for water filter, trekking clothes that you suggest? Thank you
@Gosai1
@Gosai1 8 ай бұрын
All depends on your budget tbh, but layering is the best method, take a different options to make it easy to add an remove layers without too much fuss. You can also buy gear in Kathmandu , loads of shops in Thamel , good luck

How much does food cost? And accommodation?
@Gosai1
@Gosai1 Жыл бұрын
Hi, prices low down such as Kathmandu will be about $3 (£2) per meal, the higher you go the higher the price, purely due to cost associated with taking up the raw ingredients to cook. Prices can be as high as $20 (£16) per meal, but you'll only pay that for 1 day as you'll want to spend as little time higher up. I budgeted $500 (£300) for the 12 days trekking. I had some change when i got back to Pokhara. Hope this helps
