She knew it very well that if she didn't have any children of her own then mary queen of scots would be queen after her, still she didn't marry and didn't have any children. She wanted to unit England & Scotland so that endless war between these two country could stop. For that these both countries needed common monarch. Elizabeth vs mary of scots was all about protestan vs Catholic and king James was protestan like Elizabeth.

Anne Boleyn this is a woman who was strong in spirit, with a difficult fate and a great mind. For me, this woman is an example. She may have been cruel, but it’s scary to imagine that you have many enemies and everyone wants to kill you. Any woman at that time got rid of her enemies. The main thing is how much she achieved. You really need to recognize the difference between Natalie Dormer who delivered a phenomenal performance and a woman who broke up a 20 year marriage to get herself a crown and advance the interest of her family. Anne Boleyn's greatest achievement is a daughter who was strong, dedicated, and more wise than both of her parents. The best of them went into the daughter neither of them wanted. It's poetic justice that Queen Elizabeth is still recognized as the greatest ruler in English history.

Personally, I don’t buy the idea that Anne was playing hard to get with Henry to make him want to marry her. How could she know that he would, when he hadn’t offered to marry Bessie Blount, who gave him a surviving son? I think she legitimately did not want to be his mistress and somehow, her refusal of him made him want her even more. While I definitely see she could be very cruel (referring to her treatment of Mary) imagine how terrifying it must have been to have so many enemies in so many powerful places. She must have felt so unstable in her position.

The personality of Anne Boleyn is very bright, strong, interesting and ambiguous, there is still a controversial opinion about her, but for me she is a worthy woman and a queen. It's possible that she wasn't perfect as a person, but I respect her for achieving her dream goal. She, no matter what anyone said, was really an intelligent woman. Half of England hated her, but she did not pay attention to it and continued her path to power, is it not worthy of respect? Many thanks to Natalie Dormer for this role, no one has played Anne Boleyn better than her and will not play. Her facial expressions, gestures, and gaze cause a storm of emotions, sometimes fear of her, as if I were in Jane's place.

Natalie Dormer did an amazing job as Anne. But I wish the show did not portray her as a sexual women who used her looks to get Henry. She was more then that, and has done more then what was portrayed in the show.

For a smart girl she should have known better than to object to his affair and go on attacking and ridicule them both. She could have lived if she had just quietly offered him a divorce. Their daughter Elizabeth would still be in the line of succession and actually she was the greatest and most powerful Queen ever.
