Weird take. He might not be comfortable but this is an opinion shared by many. People who arbitrarily toss out the word "cringe" often come across as cringe inducing, oddly enough. Incredibly overused to the point where all meaning has been sucked out of it.

@@jamk2668 OK...taken in the context of the overly-complementary tone of conversation, it makes me cringe. Don't know how else to put it, really. I, of course, understand that a lot of people feel that way about Sir Anthony but it still sounds weird and fake coming from someone who should speaking about him more like a peer.
