That brings back such great memories. Thanks so much! I was dancing to this with a very nice young man in our neighborhood dance cafe in Hamburg Germany in 1962. I fell in love for the first time, only to never have seen the young man again.

July 1970. We had just decommissioned the USS Hornet CVS 12 in Bremerton WA. I had 35 days leave. I drove my 1959 Corvette cross country to Chicago to my family, and then back to Alameda Naval Air station in California, my next duty station. I had an eight track player in the car...remember those? I had just two tape cassettes. Crosby Stills Nash and Young Deja Vu, and Anne Murray Snow Bird. By the time I arrived in Alameda, I knew every word to every song on both tapes, and became a life long fan of both. I also met my wife to be in Alameda that year, 50 years ago this summer. Life is good.

Ann Murray, the daughter of a miner on the radio as a child. Devout Christian, her distinctively appealing voice. The song I liked the most when I was a child, and the song I listened to a lot was called "You need me." It's so nice to hear the tumultuous 1950s masterpiece in her voice. - In Korea, her fan.
