I read her book, The Feast of All Saints and saw the movie. The book was a chore to read but I made it through. I do, though admire her ability to write so many books. I'm glad that she's writing more spiritual books.

@BerenikeThea Anne Rice is NOT an idiot. She's actually standing correct on everything she's said. It's only the wrong criticism that makes people like you say so.

The old books --The VAMPIRE CHRONICLES and the Mayfair stories-- were, to me, some of the most spiritual stories and they seem close to something sacred to me. They certainly took me to spiritual places. ANGEL TIME, on the other hand, was one of the worst novels I've ever read. It was really awful and I was glad when I finished it! The biography of Jesus was pretty good though.

@mwb1089 There are many of us out there... you'll recognize it, when we are careful in our words. Christ said in John 15:18 "If the world hate you, know that it hated me, before it hated you." But we are also aware of: John 14:6 "Jesus Christ saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Think of what Christ said... and who he said that to. It divided even the church at that time. Thanks for letting me share.

She cant understand how Christianity spread so fast? Has she ever heard of the crusades? lol... This is ridiculous.

The original Christs Disciples taught personally by Jesus spread His Word. They taught others to spread The Word. Women were originally given Holy Spirit as well as men to spread Jesus teachings.

The spread of the Gospel despite the severe persecution of believers in the first centuries is miraculous. Jesus was crucified and Christians were killed, and yet Christianity flourished. This points to the truth of the resurrection. The Crusades happened centuries later, in the Middle Ages, after Christianity had already spread. They were not about spreading the Gospel, but about driving invading Turks out of the Holy Land and other areas.
