Hi Anne 💟 Can you please do a video on your favorite Dossier perfumes? And also, a video on some of your favorite scented bodycare products to layer before your perfumes to help your scent last all day - i.e. body washes, body lotions, body oils, etc. (specifically for the “clean girl”/“your skin but better” category)?

Hi! 💛 I'm not the best person to ask as I don't gravitate towards Dossier, but I would highly recommend checking out Olivia Olfactory's channel! She has an expansive Dossier collection and has done several videos on them :) As for my body care, I like to keep it simple and let my perfumes do the work haha, because my skin unfortunately can be sensitive to a lot of those products. My body wash is fragrance free and for sensitive skin, and majority of the time I'm using Lubriderm Daily Moisture lotion, also fragrance free and for sensitive skin. If I reach for a scented lotion, it's usually a Bath & Body Works body cream, but a lot of those scents are seasonal so they're hard to recommend!

I feel like I transported to the beach on an early morning when you were talking about pacific rock moss 😍 You convinced me to buy Lionora in a previous video, and I think I’ll have to check out Lattafa now as well. My most worn summer frag so far is Le Labo Cedrat 37 🥰 We need a part 2!!

Thanks for another informative vid! I so appreciate the longevity and projection at the end of each fragrance. Am loving Ajayeb Dubai Portrait and Mayar Natural Intense right now. Also loving Flor Oud by Khadlaj and only wish it lasted a little longer. Just gorgeous.

I adore Idôle Aura! You sold me on it. I definitely get a strong rose, but it’s a pretty sunny pink summer rose, and of course I get a strong salty note, and that vanilla makes the whole thing round and solar to me. This is gorgeous in the heat 🤩

i just got home the lataffa mango one! At first few sprays i didn't quite enjoy it.. but I saw your tip of spraying 10-15 times and then the mango really came through! The osmanthus is pulling abit too green for me (at the moment lol) but ill put it back in my closet and wait for the magic during a couple weeks now :)

Got Tahara vanilla because if you and I love it. At first I thought it was too powdery but once it dried down I was likeeee OMG. It’s so clean and fluffy, I absolutely love it.

Lionora is AMAZING! I think I've worn it 2-3 days per week in June! Bali Ha'i is my July obsession so far. Brought it with me to Hawaii, and it was perfect.

Yes, summer has just begun. You could do a part 2. I wear "Falling into the Sea" by Imaginary Authors every time I go to Florida. I tried Miami Nectar, but think I need to try it again. Great review as always.

Thank you so much! So happy to have you here 💛💛 Carioca Heart was a like for me! It's super juicy, bright, fun, and playful. It smells like it could be a flanker to those Mugler Angel Eau Croisiere perfumes. I get mango and pineapple the most with lots of vanilla. Creamy, sweet, young, girly. Smells like a juice or tropical smoothie, there’s just a little bit of rum to give it a pina colada like vibe as well. I like it but I wasn't wowed by it, I was hoping for something a bit more complex or unique, but I know sooo many people are obsessed with that one!

If you love Pacific Rock Moss I strongly urge everyone to try Moshcino Toy 2 Pearl. It’s an amazing and a hugely underrated freshie (lemon sorbet, sand, oregano, musk, vetiver). Super unisex as well and affordable!

Hi Anne. I arrived into NYC and went to the niche store Scent Bar. It is Lucky Scent ! While there I asked for frags with tobacco note and 1 they showed me was Silky Woods by Goldfield Banks. It was smooth vanilla and soft tobacco. If I go back I will try the Pacific Rock Moss. Btw, I tried All the Queens Men by Forte & Manle. I did not expect a dried fruit note blast out so loudly. I was so shocked.. I have Blonde Amber which has a medium dried fruit level but this was wild.

Blue talisman sounds amazing. I'm on a no buy because my collection has grown exponentially in the past 1.5 years ☺️ .I own another 13 and pear inc. I have topped off another 13 with emir pear potion from aroma concepts. Pairs well together. I could probably use my ginger souffle body cream in the mix to create that scent🤔...thanks for the description Anne❤❤❤

Great selection. I want to try blue talisman one day. So funny how we all have a different nose. I hated pacific rock moss. I think it turned very masculine on me so ended up giving it to my male cousin and he loves it. It might be the lemon in it.

Okay, I am not a rich person, but my perfume collection needed a serious revamp. You have had so many great recommendations!!!! I now have Poets of Berlin, Soie Malaquais, Baccarat Rouge 540, Delina and Delina Exclusif. These are all so special. The price tag scared me at first, but the longevity is so much better than the designer perfumes that I used to buy. Thanks for your beautiful descriptions for these fragrances!!!

I love how Idole Aura smells, but there’s something in the dry down that gives me a headache. I’m trying to figure out what that note is since I smell it often in designer perfumes.

Anne, have you smelled Thé Vanille by Nette or the new Phlur Vanilla Skin EDP? I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on these if you’re planning on sampling. ❤

I know I'm getting to this after my review on Vanilla Skin, but Thé Vanille was a big no for me 🥴 The salt note is very strong and sharp to my nose, and the fragrance also smells very herbal which I wasn't a fan of. I honestly couldn't smell orris or vanilla 😩

I blind bought Lattafa Ajayeb Dubai Portrait after hearing about it so much. I sprayed it several times, and now I have it just sitting. I hope in a few weeks it becomes the mango butter scent I want it to be 🤞Right now, it's pungent in a non pleasant way 😬 I'm glad it was inexpensive.

Spray 15 sprays to completely empty the stem and leave in a cool dark place for at least 4 weeks then revisit. Hopefully it will be the high performing summery fragrance for you as it is for me. It does have a slight green-ness to it that makes it not as creamy as you would expect but to me that makes it more unique and complex.

The original Idole is much more floral focused and doesn't stand out in the sea of designer fragrances imo, Idole Aura has more vanilla and a salty and solar beachy feel

I don't remember if you've talked about Fleur Narcotique on your channel before, but if you have smelled it, how does it compare to Valaya for you? I tried Valaya and just couldn't get past the akigalawood (it did something funky on my skin) lol

Fleur Narcotique and Valaya are very similar, neither of them are loves for me, but out of the two I prefer Fleur Narcotique. Valaya is more musky and aldehydic in comparison, it's got this harsh soapy clean quality to my nose. They're both extremely floral, but FN has a little bit more fruitiness than Valaya

I was torn between the two as well and ended up getting Valaya based on KZfaq comments that it is quite a beast most fragrance and much more long lasting than FN. unfortunately, while I love the smell, it is not a beast mode fragrance on me and does not last long at allllll especially for the price point.

@@AnneLauren Thank you for this! I was hearing so many creators talk about how they could pick up an airy peach in Valaya, which I just wasn't getting! Maybe Fleur Narcotique would work better for me. Luckily PDM has so many great fragrances that not having Valaya as a win didn't hurt me too much (Meliora, Cassili, Oriana, and Delina the original and exclusif are all big wins for me)!

When I started testing/collecting fragrance, I got Pear Inc. to try out pear as a note. I was so sure I would love it, but quickly realized I didn't. I'd love to try Blue Talisman, but I'm a bit afraid I might confirm my dislike for the pear note. I'm wondering if the note is at all similar to Pear Inc.? 🤔

Although they're in the same fragrance family, they are definitely different enough. Pear Inc was a "like" for me, but I'm obsessed with Blue Talisman. Something I've learned through testing fragrances, is that a note can be created so differently! For a long time I didn't think I cared for a pear note, but I just hadn't found one that did pear in the way I enjoyed :)

The reformulation (white label, gold cap) is DRASTICALLY better than the original (orange label, black cap). The original was like water with it's performance

I love Blue Talisman, but I do not get anything natural with it 🤭 But I love the smell. One lady was wearing it on the bus and omg the whole bus smelled liek musky pear on steroids.

To be honest I don't understand the hype about the Lattafa so called mango fragrance. I get just unidentified fruitiness and sharp woodines. No mango at all for me.
