Thank you so much for reacting !!!!so happy that you liked them they are from Germany they do a lot of English covers which they are quite famous for but also write their own songs in German . If you want to hear some of their own songs I recommend "Pocahontas" or " barfuß am Klavier" and if you want to hear one more of their covers I really recommend toms dinner have a nice day 😊

It's a collaboration between two bands. AMK is a trio from Cologne/Germany that is reinforced by a bassist. Henning May is the guy with the harsh voice. They went viral internationally with their collaborations with other bands with whom they covered english songs. In Germany they are particularly popular with their own songs in german. They impress with their joy of playing music, which they create in the studio and live without a lot of technology. Their videos are designed in the same way. The singer who plays the jazzy guitar is from Parcel. The quintet comes from Byron Bay/Australia, but lives in Berlin. They are internationally active.

Henning May is like a willow tree. Big veins in his neck and yet flexible. His bass voice reaches into baritone and can chose to put on a 'growl'

This song was my first introduction to the other band in this, AnnenMayKantereit, and I had to go and listen to their other songs. I dare to say that their original songs are even better than the covers: lead singer Henning May (the guy in the black t-shirt feeling the music) has a way to make even German language sound heavenly good. Some recommendations for you to check out at some point: Pentatonix, is an amazing accapella group and grammy winner. Hallelujah, sound of silence and the daft punk medley are good starters. Sabaton, a power metal band, each of their songs is based on a historical event. Bismark, Uprising, 1916, and christmas truce are a nice introduction. Hamilton, the musical about alexander hamilton and amercas independence. Epic: the musical. Its still partially in production, but its a musical rendition of the story of Odysseus, greek mythology. Its amazing and im currently obseesed with them. Bo burnham, a comedian who will have you crying, feeling things you can't quite explain and thinking about the world. Welcome to the internet is great, so is the chicken, and the whole inside special, that he created on his own during quarantine. Citizen soldier. The lead singer is a licensed therapist, and the songs deal with depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse ,anxiety, etc.
