I don’t know how y’all did… My wife and I have been singing this song at our restaurant since we heard it. It’s so weird seeing it blow up now like it has but great at the same time. We have gotten to being back an old song we are so familiar with and the younger folks go nuts over it. If this surprises you, you’d be blown away at the other stuff people ask for lol.

Maybe I’m wrong, but it appears everyone is overlooking the musicians-essentially two different bands playing in two different rooms with the singers transitioning from one to the other flawlessly. The ability for everyone to stay so fluidly together is brilliant.

Look up “vermissen”. It’s a song Henning May did with Juju, they sound so good together. He can rap too :) I think his vocals can compliment a lot of different styles.

@@ooonyxxx intentionally singing the way he does is actually incredibly hard to do. You may not like the style, but to actually do what he does and have it been in tune, that’s takes a loooooot of practice. Very impressive stuff.

I'm no expert, but their voices really do complement each other. That deep raspy voice was already beyond good. Coupled with the first dude's unique voice made it exceptional. Thanks for the eargasm lads.

I'm hypnotized by the first guy's voice. It's totally unique, I've never heard anything like it, and I've been around for a while. When the second guy started singing, I was looking around for an old, black, blues singer! Wish I could pronounce the band's name.

the first time i saw these guys was in 2014 at the musikschutzgebiet festival in homberg, germany. the whole crew of annenmaykantereit came to the campground with their instruments and started people calling over to a circle. they claimed that they are going to be on stage this evening on the festival but are not that well known, so they kinda tried to get people to their gig. i joined the session with a couple friends and we were blown away by these guys music and especially the singer. now nine years later i am looking at this video with 92 million views. respect guys. vote this up so they can see this story, they'll probably remember this story. greetings from berlin!

If you haven't yet, I highly recommend listening to the video where he sings Ozean- I found it last night and it blew me away. I don't generally listen to music that I can't sing along to, and I don't speak German, but after I heard that I decided I was going to learn the language just to appreciate the song more :P
