Sadly, she was 70 years old when she died after 25-26 years of dealing with the condition. I remember her for singing "The Parent Trap" song while watching the 1961 film.

By the time I seen the Mickey Mouse Club it was in re-runs. I was a child of the 70's but I was just as entertained as the children of the 50's.

When Walt Disney commandeered the Disney Empire, the values portrayed in their productions had parent's confidence. Many parents would let their children view only Disney shows because of those good values. So good to know that Annette, through her trials with MS deepened her relationship with the LORD. ❤

I usually don't willingly watch "The 700 Club" but this has Annette : ) Annette Turner....that sounds rather blah Oddly I swear that Annette wore a bikini once in those movies I'd like to get my hands on Cello perfume

Not much was said about the Lord. I was hoping the 700 Club would have encouraged Annett to invite people to Jesus. About being born again. And I don't understand why this program is called the 700 Club. Jesus never started a club. He called it the Body Of Christ.

I found myself here because Annette has become a source of comfort and support to me. I didn't get to be a fan of hers when I was a little girl. I was too young. I knew who she was but she was already very sick with MS at that time. Now I have a chronic illness. It isn't MS but it's scary. It's easy to blame God and to ask why isn't it? This world isn't perfect and the diseases it strikes people with can seem grossly unfair. But Annette was special. Her sweet spirit and her smile, the way she chose to live life despite her MS gave hope to so many and still does. Maybe there's sense to made from that. And her dream did come true, it did happen. Today she walks in Heaven with her best friend Jesus with no cane and no suffering
