OK, all I kept thinking was when I was a kid and used the Print Maker program on my old Apple II computer back in the last 1980s. Now, I know I am showing my age, but seriously I still remember designing and printing out those cards for all in my family back in the day and that is what this reminded me of ;)

What a great idea to do this card making kit while watching TV and NOT eating! I have the same issue and I was thinking of coloring also while watching TV. I like that this kit has everything perforated or pre-cut and the cards are cute although I agree about gender neutral options. I would love to see you making cards and the finished product. 🇨🇦 Sunshine squad. This box is cute. Always keep in mind you can change up the colours and stuff so you could make a card For your dad no problem. I'd Love to see what you make. I get the Stampin Up monthly subscription and the quality is amazing also it's a "half hour " box. I do a lot of crafting. Can't wait to see more. Totally agree the shipping cost was a Little much.

Yes, you can change up the colors, but using what they sent I was just noticing it would be nice for them to include a gender neutral option.

My youth group made cards to sell one year to raise money for a big trip. One of the mom's had a huge collection of stamps and card stock. I was the pastor so help a bit but quilting is my stress reliever!

Cute kit for a starter. I love cards and making cards. This seems a bit high as well but gets a beginner a pretty good idea of what's involved. Your adhesive runner is perfect. Be advised that embellishments such as ribbon adds weight to mail it. Sunshine Squad

I've been thinking about trying the crocheting kit, if this is the same Annie's crafting. You make a new block every month and when your are done you put them all together to make a completed blanket. Each block is a different stitch that you will learn each month and I could only hope that it can help me with my crochet. I'm horrible. lol I would love to see you doing the cards and I would love to see these cards when you get them finished. :) I hope you have a great weekend Kristy! :)

Sunshine Squad! I've done some card making, but my craft is scrap booking. The white tool you pulled out that you thought was an unboxing tool is actually called a bone folder (or burnisher.) When you fold the card stock, you rub the slanted side along the fold and it makes the crease crisper or sharper. It can also be used to transfer rub-ons. A kit like this would be great for watching TV! It won't take up much room and everything you need is right there. Be sure to let us see the finished results.

I make cards as a hobby. That is a good kit, value for money. The shipping seemed a bit high for your country, here not so much ;) All you need are some masculine card and paper sheets from one of your local stores and make the same design in those colours for your Dad's birthday. Use your bone folder and a ruler to score down the middle of a card so you can fold in half. I'm looking forward to seeing what you make :)

Yes, I can totally recreate a card for my dad. I was just noticing as a kit that would be my feedback. It would not work for everyone who wanted to have cards on hand. A more gender neutral option would have just been nice to see. ❤️ I did mention in the description box that the shipping was a little lower than I remembered. So that made it a little better in price.

I crochet when I’m just watching tv. I’ve made gobs of things. My mama was soooo creative. She could make anything! I’m more of a bread/cookie baker. I want to learn how to make macarons and use royal icing to decorate cookies.

Stampin' Up has a monthly kit called Paper Pumpkin, it's $22 a month including shipping 🙂 I've never subscribed but I've done stampin' up cards and they are nice. I'm not too crafty but I do like the idea of having all the supplies and directions 🙂 would love to see your finished product!

Hi, just got my first Annie’s Cardmaker kit and like you, I am not impressed with the packaging. In fact, the corners of my cardstock are a little squished. 😑 I got my kit thru a link on The Frugal Crafters channel and only paid $17. I just wanted to check it out. I think I only paid $5 for mine and then $8 shipping. I was not impressed with the packaging either. I actually just this morning moved this kit off my desk so I could work on it tonight. I hope you have fun making your cards!

Yes please make a card making video please I was tring to buy just the card making kit and not the bone folder and block kit thing and I do t see there I can pick the kit I want and I. Up to 3 orders tri g to delete it and I can't delete it out of my cart and also seem if u want the kit u must ha e to also buy the biggie kit and also I do t know once you get the kit I thought u r also have the instructions to make card on a video but where is the video

You don’t get to pick your kit. It is a subscription and there is a different kit every month. You just click the join button and pay your $9.99. They send you instructions with your kit.
