2:09 Yes, we do do that in Turkish and the expression is almost the same: "It's come up to my here.". I know "my here" doesn't make sense in English but in Turkish it does. It basically means "this part of my body" or "this height, compared to me". And that part is usually around your throat or mouth.

"I had it up to here" sounds like it comes from what we venezuelans say: "Estoy hasta aquí" (pointing head height). We also say "Estoy harto" wich could be "I'm fed up".

2:02 Generally, women over 60 years old in Brazil make this gesture a lot with their hand close to their forehead or above it when they are stressed about something and say "To por aqui", as if we were bottles full of stress and about to overflow, dynamites almost bursting, exploding point, something like "I've had it up to here" is like "I'm at this level of nervous/stress/irritation". And when they lose emotional control over a situation, they say "That was the last straw", that is, the anger overflowed ;)

Thx really cool video, maybe especially because my morning is so duckin annoying now 😁 But, could you make a video about how do you say if smth interrupts, is a spoiler.. in Ukrainian and Russian languages we use such a phrase constantly. But even with a translator I couldn't find smth proper. Meaning, for instance, I enter the room, there're some people busy with doing smth and I say "sorry, I don't wanna (__??what to say here??__) Or someone is clingy and I need to say smth meaning "don't disturb me", but with the sense "don't be an obstacle/issue, you're nor welcome/don't touch me, it's not (at/in/on) time"

Your gesticulations are bothering me. You must have taken a public speaking class from Zig Ziglar. (joking) People learn their expressions and speech patterns from their family and community. Very hard to overcome. It's like trying to teach yourself to not walk by swinging your hands in opposite directions from your feet. Not impossible. It takes a lot of work. 'Bother' is a british language pattern. Just like saying 'brilliant', Are you taking a piss', 'Let's give it a go', 'lovely', 'You look smart' or Australian 'she's fit', 'barbie' I would never want someone to change their natural speech patterns. It's what makes them them, and it's music to my ears.
