Hi! How's your TMJ now? Do you still wear your splint and how much has it improved after 6 months? I've been wearing mine for more than a month now, no more pain pero may occasional clicking pa din especially whenever I accidentally open my mouth too wide.

I have tmd on my left jaw and my hearing is so bad! Especially when it flares up! Im required to wear splint at night and do 10 min. Meditation morning and evening !

@@ManilaMillennialhi maam ung sakin po minsan natunog din sya tapos nung nakaraan first time ko lang po nangyari sakin un nakain ako tumunog sya ng malakas right sied po. Plan ko magpa braces pero natatakot ako magpa install kasi baka kapag naka nganga ako ng matagal ay mag lock ung jaw ko.

Hi how much did you spend for your dental splint? I had mine 2 days ago but will take 10 days more so I can have my dental splint . Di man lang ako binigyan ng botox injection ng doctor ko, kahit alam nyang in pain ako. I paid 35k for it. Before pa nya ako madiagnose na may TMD/tmj disorder ako ni rule out ng dentist ko na dental problem ang cause ng pain ko . Pinastahan nya ang 2 molars ko then after nun in pain parin ako, so I told him na baka may . TMJ disorder ako, saka nya pa ako inassess for tmjD. Tapos ung xray na pinarequest nya panoramic lang.

parehas po tayo. taon narin binibilang yung sakin. dati diko alam na hindi pantay ang muka ko,dahil pag nakatingin ako sa salamin parang ok naman siya. pero nong madami ng nakakapansin na hindi pantay ang mukha ko. nagtry ako magpicture sa back camera ko at yon di talaga pantay ang muka ko.sobrang nahihiya na din ako sa mga kawork ko,hindi ako makapag eye to eye contact. nakaka wala ng confident makipag usap. 😔😔😔

Sakin minsan migraine tsaka lockjaw na experience ko. Nabanggit lang sakin yung TMJ netong December nagpadentist ako para pabunot at pasta. Hindi rin pantat jaw ko Hindi ako nakakapunit ng chichirya etc gamit ngipin pero wala namang clicking sound

My molar sa upper teeth was removed when I was in High School tapos nagpabrace ako nung College, yung jaw ko di naging pantay maaayos pa kaya yun? Meron din clicking sound sa jaw ko.

my son has tmj disorder, recently lang na diagnos. as of 2020 nagka gingivitis sya, balik balik kami sa ibat ibang dental clinic, hanggang nakahanap kami ng periodental doctor, which is ganun pa rin di pa rin sya gumagalin up to now. hanggnang ngayun nga, last week hanap kami periodental na bago who treat with TmJ and ortho. dun sa amin napaliwanag na may tmj disorder na ang anak ko. sana pag naumpisahan na treatment may improvement na. sana gumaling na sya. sana nga may tumulong naman sa amin. kase malaki laki din magagastos at di ko alam kung san ko kukunin yung panggastos

Dear Mam, I also have this TMJ for over a month now with unyielding pain in my right jaw up to ear with clicking sound...I thought gawa lang toh ng paginom ko ng gamut for my diabetes kaya sumakit ang panga ko at parteng tenga coz I take 2000mg ng Metformin plus other medicines for cholesterol and triglycerides. Hayyys, the pain is so severe now that I could hardly eat and open up my mouth. Unfortunately, wala pa akong health insurance kaya di ako makapagpacheck up dito sa Dubai for I am only on a visit visa and therefore I suffer a lot with this sudden illness. I keep watching and searching na lang muna ng mga proper treatment and remedies but to no avail. So far ay right side palang ang sumasakit. I had actually one of my tooth removed a couple of weeks back and probably a day or two ay another tooth for removal again, hoping that it would alleviate the pain or totally remove this TMJ disorder.

Nagka tmj din ako after 3 weeks ng pasta ko sa molar tooth, sumasakit sya pag nainom ako ng malamig or mainit kaya pinabunot ko nalang kasi sobrang sakit ng panga ko na hindi na maibuka

did the tooth removal change the pain? ganyan dim po sakin after having a pasta sa right lower molar.. nagkaganto ako bigla, tmj, i also teeth grind at night huhu

@@ciarelle I also grind and clench my teeth at night a few months back. Saw some few suggestions of taking magnesium supplements and I tried it, so far I stopped grinding at night na ever since. I hope this helps.

Nakaexperience din po ba kayo ng vertigo and balance disorder, matagal na ako may TMD, nagkaroon pa nga ako ng ear infection sa left ear ko, nakuha ko yung TMD sa pag-grind ng teeth ko tuwing gabi, ngayon naman I always feel lightheaded na parang matutumba ako, pero wala naman weakness at never pa ako natumba, I just feel like theres something wrong with my balance. Hindi din pantay ang pag-kagat ko, dati na akong nagsuot ng dental splint kaso nasira na siya.

More of migraines po yung akin but according to Doc Darwin, possible rin po na effect yung imbalance. I noticed that I can lift heavy things easier din whenever I wear a splint. Would recommend getting checked po by an expert para masolve based on your specific needs. :)

Q1. Sa experience ko, no, pero as per Dr. Darwin, that would be possible na lumuwag sa feeling pero depende pa rin sa case. Especially sa upper splints. Q2. Medyo naramdaman ko po 'to and normal sya as per my dentist. Purpose kasi ng splint is to elevate the vertical dimension and most forces are distributed to the teeth designated to carry the weight and forces for chewing. Also, during adjustments the teeth are stimulated to erupt in a certain way (naturally) on its own to establish the vertical dimension required kaya ito inaadjust. Yan po explanation ni Doc Dar :) Hope it helps!
