It would be neat to see Death Trucks in the zone and witness them as rare random encounters

My personal theory is that the brainscorcher/psi-storms put the victim into a state of docilitity, there monlith soldiers collect the docile stalkers and hook them up to the monitors which either turn them into sleeper agents or monolith soldiers, those not collected and left in the state of docility eventually get back up as zombies. The images on the screens show the zone and its creations essentially indoctrinating them into being one with the zone and worshipping it. The emission at the end of Clear Sky was deliberate, though rather than vapourising stalkers like usual it was engineered to be psi-heavy to catch all the clear sky members which would make up their stock of numbers. The C-Consciousness panicked at the prospect of strelok still being alive, they had no knowledge of his appearance so they had no idea they already caught him, so created the soldiers to keep watch for him and other similarly ambitious stalkers and sent the sleeper agents out to kill him.

I hope the developer don't forget about him and the clear sky faction in Stalker 2 And oh yeah i think what strelok do in soc make the zone is broken or something that's why in cop we always can see a emission i dont know in clear sky because i play that game yesterday

Have always wondered about the Belarussian side of the Zone. Maybe the Monolith is there too? So perhaps, maybe in STALKER 2 or even 3 (if it ever happens lol), could include Scar surviving and ending up in the Belarussian side. Or at least it's a constant possibility.

I also do believe that scar is a marked stalker And maybe the device where he is isn't the same device than the device who make zombie or monolithian so it could explain why we don't see clear sky member ( or very few ) turned into marked agent The arm rising is also a good point I don't know what to think about it

i think Clear Sky decided to use the CM1 rifle because of its properties. its not effected by gravity or wind, so it would be easier to use it to disable Strelok's psy-protection than use a sniper rifle to kill him.

Nimble and novikov are the known survivors of clear sky so the faction is not completely gone

your map of the brain scorcher's influence looks really strange because the brain scorcher was designed with shadow of chernobyl/clear sky's map in mind. the area of influence would look more like a barrier, stretching across the radar and the red forest, leaving limansk as the only direct route towards pripyat that wasn't in the brain scorcher's reach. this is all because of the pripyat paradox though, which i hope will be cleared up in stalker 2. also, i believe that clear sky was forcing strelok to retreat by disabling his psy protection. lebedev states that he wont last long in the incoming emission without it, so once strelok's psy protection runs out, he either has to retreat or become a zombie/monolith

I have my own scenario. Scar did not wake up by him self but by something diferent, more powerful than C-consciousness. He was waked up by Gman and we dont saw him, because Scar´s pov ended sooner, than Gman apeard. He recruted him in same way like Gordon Freeman and corporal Shephard, in crisis situation. Gman sended Scar to the past, so Scar killed Fang, even if it hapened before end of clear sky.

Ring theory holds up. Limansk seems to be untouched as its radars are never utilised, same with the hospital etc. The military at a high enough altitude can also dodge the ring. I think the psy protection thing is just a failure on the part of the developers.

Regarding 2:10 - I just played through vanilla+ZRP SHOC, and I noticed the final dialogue with the hologram actually mentions a "network" of psi emitters preventing access to the center of the Zone. So "the" Brain Scorcher doesn't need to have a weird ring pattern, it may just be one of a whole bunch of installations surrounding the CNPP. The psi barrier being an imperfect patchwork of different emitters could readily explain why there are ways through it and why coverage varies.

I think that Scar being alive is pretty much a given. He and Strelok were able to get inside the CNPP before the blowout, only to get their brains yeeted by the psi field. Scar wakes up and moves his head, but the movement stops when he stares at the screen. The hand movement at the end is either him struggling against the brainswashing (the other stalkers probably went thru the same process before succumbing to it) or getting up. I personally belive he struggled but then fell to the brainwashing, becoming Charon. But maybe he was completely immune to the psi field and just escaped. It would be amazing to finally get to cannonically explore the Generator area and find him in there, with many secrets to tell.

My impression was always that the reason Clear Sky was using the psy-field disabling rifle was the presumption that the 'zone' so to speak would know if he died due to its own actions, its own hands if you will. I assume this is why Clear Sky were mentioned to be protected from emissions, rather than a general psy-wave. This is part of why I assume myself that they went on to become Monolith. Perhaps the more heavily damaged members like the zombified ones you mentioned elsewhere, but in essence, they were protected enough to bear the attack, just not without significant scorching to their minds.

I know it sounds unlikely, as you could easily argue that since this counts as after-game content and isn't a part of the ending, that it isn't canon, but after the endgame cutscene and the credits, the game continues with Scar simply getting up from the emission, notably with most of the Monolith and Clear Sky members gone. I thought Scar just woke up from the emission, somehow lucking out for whatever reason, and then got out of the area, escaping through Limansk and then leaving The Zone, or he escape and went into hiding somewhere in The Zone.

I dont think strelok used prototype from Yantar it was only psi helmet nothing else. Did anyone remember cutscene from SoC? when he arrive and say to doctor showing werid artifact? ( you won't believe where i was and what i saw ) That kind of psi protection give them physical protection from bullets too! like Burer abilities and other Zone shit. I think he used this weird powerfull artifact abilities

Nice video, had my own theory using lost alphas orginal gameplay. The sin member whom is chasing/hunting strelok I figured was scar and this blow out furthered his unnatural abilities. The character is seen wearing a trench coat and even bad inventory that using a Vintar BC. However all those cutscenes and this npc was cut from the The current version of lost alpha. Another speculation I came up with was that he was proverb the stalker whom saved strelok from the death truck whom also wears a trench coat and vintar BC, seems to know a bit of strelok and even looks shocked when he finds him in cutscenes in both the lost alpha and soc. Although smiliar appearance he seems a bit younger and no scar is present but again could also have had his unnatural abilities furthered after the blowout healing his injuries and making him younger. Similarly to wolfs armour which was said to have unique healing effects. Perhaps the zone healed them all. As for the other clear sky faction. Perhaps they had been changed and handed new equipment, those strong enough merged with the monolith those week sent in the death trucks as disposable agents. Anyway love seeing these videos and others thirsty for stalker lore.

I never noticed that arm in the final cutscene, if that is supposed to be Scar then yea it's possible he escaped the brainwashing and went into hiding.

i think - considering that scar was right outside the reactor when blowout happened - that scar simply got his nervous system fryed he was warned about it and his body could not withstand that much it's better and more cannected to what happens in the game than crazy theories of miraculous survival or being recruited to monolith

Here's a few theories of mine (1st one is that Scar was gone before we could see him and he's out of the zone and living normally.) (2nd one is that the one raising his hand is Scar but that movement can be another one with the same thing scar has in him and is a unknown Stalker who wishes to help Strelok or heard of his legend and gets up and breaks his brainwashing thing giving him the same mission to kill Strelok and saves him but the man dies from it because the double C kills him as he is up and walking before its ready.) (3rd one is that Strelok got a broken brainwashing thing and got the kill strelok mission while scar dies before he was brainwashed or he was still alive and there was more than 3 blowouts he could take and got up and got killed by the monolith.) just some of my theories.

I think he escaped but went crazy. he then set himself up in a little shack surrounded by mines sniping anyone that comes by. As a mercenary, he must have done a few jobs for the nearby faction freedom. They my have assumed that the last job they sent him on made him psycho.

Oh yes, these are some extremely interesting theories, and I am very glad that you brought them up and made a great video discussing each of them in-depth. I personally believe that Scar is still out there, while Clear Sky would have been wiped out, or at least depowered by the end of the second game. In Call of Chernobyl, they exist but their leadership has obviously changed and they were pushed back to the Great Swamps. I know CoC isn't canon, but it's interesting to note. On a completely unrelated note: Since you mentioned loving Oblivion Lost Remake, will you ever make a detailed video on how to play it and how to find all documents (not just the seven red folders)? I'm struggling with getting into a certain door underneath that game's version of Rostok, and playing the game itself can be quite a goddamn nightmare sometimes, but I am enjoying it. It's just a video idea, but the mod has made a pretty huge impact on my view of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. canon and lore, even though I still consider the final games to be canon.

I think the most telling that Scar gets turned into a Monolith agent is that the person who wakes up in the cutscene focuses on Strelok for a lot longer than the other two next to him. Surely whoever looked at Strelok knew him, right? Scar is also undoubtedly special, so not only would he temporarily gain consciousness but he's likely to have some protection from the Zone if he survived. Also, it would be quite boring that Scar, Zone-blessed and ultra-badass mercenary, just dies at the end. Even if the C-consciousness took hold of him for a while, it's not unlikely that the Zone wasn't done with him. After all, even if he fulfilled his purpose, does the Zone throw away her favorites like that? Forester are one of the Zone-blessed who proves that the Zone can be benevolent. I believe if the series continues long enough, then Scar will return. Let's just hope he's on our side.

In my mind, the scenario is as follows: Upon disabling Strelok, the emission hits and everyone is knocked out (It was a psy-emission, not a regular physical emission). C-Concious then gather all the stalkers, Clear Sky, Monolith etc and begin the process of indoctrination. Fighters become Monolith, scouts become Stalkers/sleeper agents. The senior Clear Sky (i.e. Lebedev) are highly valuable to C-Concious and become intergrated into their program to enhance it. (This is why we see what appears to be Lebedev in Shadow Of Chernobyl, and he recognizes Strelok). He tries to convince Strelok to join them, as he was convinced to join at the end of Clear Sky events. As for Scar, I believe that he survived and ended up in the brain washing corridor... however, due to his unique abilities which C-Concious did not account for, he was able to awake and there after one of two things happen... 1. Scar escapes (possibly with some amnesia due to the traumatic event) and becomes the protaginist of Stalker II 2. Scar ends up as a Monolith fighter in a senior position that we have yet to see - again, possibly making an appearance in Stalker II

Nice video but you missed some things and i will explain them because they are fitting to the video and to the story of shadow of chernobyl. 1. So in the events of Clear Sky that ofcurse is a prequel of Shadow of Chernobyl we get a good explanation on how emisions work and that there are people able to survive them and lets not forget about the achievement you can earn in Call of Pripyat that you can survive emisions. 2. If taking all those things in consideration you get to a point that ofcurse Scar and Strelok have the ability to survive the last emision in the event of Clear Sky. 3. Strelok in Shadow of Chernobyl has the mission to kill Strelok and that mission was placed by the c-consciousness because they knew that Strelok will gonna come in contact with his old group and kill them but they didnt knew that Strelok was able to withstand to the brain wash, the point is that streloks mission was placed cause the c consciousness knew that they must the gap so no one wouldnt be able to reach the cnpp and the truth behind the wish granter. 4. In conclusion i think scar is pretty much alive but its not mentioned in any of the 2 games SOC and COP maybe he is monolith or a stalker agent who knows but the clear thing is that he survived 100% maybe he will be mentioned in STALKER 2. Scar is marked from the beginning, maybe the first. C-con gave him the abilities, a kill order for fang, and the order to move the Free Sky into a spot to capture Lebedev and as many new stalkers as possible to make monolith. Lebedev would know much of the outside world and is one of the few that know the truth secret of the C-con.
