If you don't know him (but I'm sure you do), you should listen some Arvo Pärt and maybe Zbigniew Preisner too (especially Lacrimosa, Day of Tears kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o7aPoryd3ZzWemQ.html and his Kyrie : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNdngrWHyZORimw.html)

Hard to tell which John Taverner is which sometimes!!! They are both very wonderful composers, however. Someone should do a mixed album sometimes - the old and the new side by side.

Its hard for one to have a favorite. I came to understand that the one l am listening to at the moment is the favorite. New levels open up when one approaches anything that way. Makes me think of Shakespeare s teaching " There is is no good or bad in the world. However thinking makes it so.
