Killswitch Sevenfold That’s what would make such a lie especially appalling, that he wasn’t so dense to have not understood that. Doing the show gave a new generation an appreciation for him, and that statement was alienating (no double entendre intended 😄). Not that “The Church” would’ve taken this approach, but it would’ve endeared people so much more if they just saw his being in on the joke. People really soften to someone who can laugh himself. And a lot of people will rattle off the entire gamut of jokes about their own religions. They’re the ones who will introduce you to the jokes, because they’re firm in their beliefs and unshaken by a little humor.

Killswitch Sevenfold OK, I just found this quote from Isaac Hayes III from Tony Ortega’s site The Underground Bunker: “Isaac Hayes did not quit South Park; someone quit South Park for him. What happened was that in January 2006 my dad had a stroke and lost the ability to speak. He really didn’t have that much comprehension, and he had to relearn to play the piano and a lot of different things. He was in no position to resign under his own knowledge. At the time, everybody around my father was involved in Scientology - his assistants, the core group of people. So someone quit South Park on Isaac Hayes’ behalf. We don’t know who.”

Mr. Hayes was definitely pressured to quit South Park by higher ups in the cult. It's a real deal cult; if you don't do what they tell you there are real consequences. And if they want to kick you out its not just you getting the boot, they try to take your family and your friends and your career from you if they can. Mr. Hayes probably saw it as a lot easier to just close that South Park chapter of his life and forward the resignation email the cult sent him then stir up problems for himself and his family.

When Christianity was changed and splintered into a bunch of different denominations the town of Munster adopted their own version that devolved to the point where it was basically a harem for the town elders. Younger men were killed or driven out while the elders took many young wives including children. Any dissent was met with torture/execution. Some seriously twisted shit went down. Fanaticism + Isolation + Charismatic leaders. Eventually it got so bad that the German military showed up, surrounded the town, and starved them out. Basically the entire town was massacred down to the last man, woman and child. The leaders of the rebellion were tortured to death and hung in cages for all to see as a warning. So yeah. I was part of the ASyd (Anon-Sydney) Chapter of Chanology about 12 years ago, and to begin with it was full of hope and affirmation. After a year or so of my involvement, it had devolved into shouting in-group memes and screaming them at a building. It had become a victim of it's own initial success as cliques formed and infighting began within its own internal structure. We thought we were internet super-heroes, but most of us were bored kids wanting to belong to something bigger than ourselves. The goal was pure and well intentioned, but the CoS saw us street kids for what we were, and waited us out until we got bored. To this day, I wish that I'd been brave enough to take further steps against the 'Church', but I had a life to build, and couldn't dedicate more of myself to the cause. This is one of my life's bigger regrets.
@ladyacid6543 жыл бұрын
MelbAnon here! You're absolutely right about how it fell apart. It took a surprisingly long time to collapse, given the history of the movement. I think we were still at it almost a year and a half later, but the numbers weren't there anymore. The infighting shredded it, and growing up took care of the rest. But damn if it wasn't a fun battle while it lasted. I just wish we had been able to acheive more.

Now when people attack those kinds of things they risk losing their job, getting ostracized online by the rapid far left twitter cult and getting doxed, harassed, etc. The irony with far lefties is that they still believe they are "the rebels", the ones that attack the system, meanwhile their ideology is backed by the Democratic Party that holds full power in politics atm and by just about all the richest most powerful businesses including all of big tech. Some rebels they are as social media backs them up by silencing and banning their opposition and every business in America changes their icons to rainbow flags and BLM propaganda. They cry about the system oppressing them as they ally with the same system that is oppressing everyone else, and people get angry as hell because they notice this hypocrisy all the time. The whole thing with Isaac Hayes leaving South Park was debunked by his son. Hayes didn't leave the show on his own fruition, it was initiated FOR him from a representative of Scientologist without his say so. Also, at that point, Hayes' health was deteriorating, he had a stroke that preventing him from talking, ultimately getting worse.
@steliokontos83644 жыл бұрын
If he allowed a representative to leave the show for him. Then he allowed it to happen. That’s ridiculous. Can someone quit your your job for you. Of course not. And if his health was so bad, how was he able to go on a radio show tour a few weeks after he left the show. And do cameos in movies. Don’t believe everything Wikipedia tells you. I believe that Scientology forced him to quit. They probably threatened to throw him out of the organization. But the bottom line is that he made that decision. He could have realized that a real religion who cares about your well being. Would never threaten to cast you out. He choose a bunch of fruit loop bullshit over his job. And that’s his right. Watch the "Infiltrating scientology" videos that came out recently. Its by a couple dude bros, but it was very well made. It is what started me on this rabbit hole. The part that freaks me out a bit more is that the main dude gets brainwashed, and cant remember actual events of his life because it got changed from a 10 hour session of what is clearly brainwashing. After reading the book I went the the Denver Scientology Church to see whats what. Immediately it looks like a modern library mixed with a museum. The receptionists pair you up with a person who works there. The person you are paired with interviews you and asks/answers questions. Its very similar to a car salesman where they try to feed into your ego to manipulate you. After about 30 minutes I took their personality test. The person read it to me and then began to push Scientology courses to "fix" what was wrong according to my personality test. These courses aren't cheap, $500 each. After hearing that I politely told them I will think about it and left. Cool experience if you're bored and want to see what Scientology is like in person

A lady comes up to my line and asks to speak to a manager with this stern, and clearly offended voice. I didn't resist her at all. Believe me I thought she was being way too sensitive saying that having Scientology and Hell in the same sentence was some how discriminatory towards here belief (she was a Scientologist). One of my proudest accomplishments is that I recognized "Scientology" for the cult that it is way back in the late 20:th century. I was WAY ahead of the curve on that one! I even bought a copy of Dianetics for less than a dollar and actually read it just for the lulz. At the time I couldn't quite believe how all these creative, intelligent and seemingly well-read celebrities could fall for such an obvious con. That was a good decade+ before I got my autism diagnose. I now realize that neuro-typical people generally believe in stuff, not on the merits of their objective "truth value" or bayesian probability , but for entirely esoteric causes like psychological and social reasons.

Common people pay to Scientology, celebrities are bought by Scientology

Just remember that autistic people aren’t impervious to this. You are not immune to propaganda.

Well it was said in his name. Before dying he made contradictory statements for leaving such as not getting paid enough.

I interviewed a former Scientologist who's now a critic of Scientology on my channel earlier this year and asked him about the effect Anonymous had on Scientology. He was very clear that the campaign by Anonymous was a game changer for Scientology and that they had a big impact on Scientology.

I was in Minneapolis in 2009, and came across a group of people in Guy Fawkes masks handing out pamphlets against Scientology. Thanks to the people who were there, I wasn't even really aware what was going on, but it's something that stuck with me. That kind of thing is what made anonymous great.
