This is not really a how to video, my intention is to do a series where if you want to make one, I will video the steps, with the materials and overall cost and you can see what I go through as a beginner to put a couple more these together. I have made 2 so far, but now I want to make one for my son, who is a big dude and it will be a challenge. He is a powerlifter with a 52" chest and massive legs. So it will be a interesting to see if I can get it out of one blanket. The other one is for a buddy who is also jacked, just not as massive. If you watch my series and decide it is more work than you are up for, you can look up Empire Wool. The guy makes them himself, and I think they cost anywhere from $300 US and up. Learning how to make things is often it's own reward, and ultimately, you will enjoy something you make more than something you buy, if you push yourself. Once I had the design, and all the materials I needed, like the buttons, thread and such, the actual assembly wasn't too bad. I will keep track of the hours it takes, so at least you may know what to expect. I completed this jacket a year ago and don't really remember how long it took.
