a viewer wanted to see me do an Arlan 0-cycle with Bronya instead of Sparkle
and since Sparkle has been working overtime for a while now, i decided to try
i had to use Ruan Mei instead of Tingyun, though: sorry about that :(

that velleity guy just uses all support eidolons pretty sure that's the arlan you saw i do check these vids when they use underperforming chars but yea, usually just disappointment when checking supp eidolons :>

bro did not read the disclaimer: “This is Honkai: Support Rail, not Honkai: Star Relatable”. Plus, the content isn’t even about Arlan; It’s about the strategical considerations and lengths OP has to go through in order to make the most powerful supports function around the literally worst dps in the vidya gaem. Or just literal luck, which is no diff from Xolze super low cost crit fishing.

yup, "dolphin" is the right term, but a lot of people, including Content Creators, seem to think ANYTHING above E0S1 is "whale" these people are difficult and insane, so I'm poking fun at them :p my vertically-invested supports put in a lot of work (some would say they're the real carries), so I understand your reluctance to enable easy mode it's also why I try not to showcase good DPS with them, because it'd be way overkill thanks for watching! 💚

You know what, I find it funny when players don't complain about E2 Acheron, DHIL, Firefly showcases getting 0 cycles, but when used E1 Robin, Ruanmei or E2 Hanabi they call the showcase unrelatable LoL. So it's fine as long the dps has eidolons but it's not when supports have it😅

@@user-qr3lr7sh1g i think it just comes down to people innately don't view those eidolon showcases to be the same as a normal E0 showcase, they already distinguished the E2/E6 in a class of its own. But with these bad dps showcases, its often a LOT more eidolons, like if you count here then its 5 eidolons for the supports combined

@@tridinh1011Hmm, think about it like this. E2 DHIL+E0 Hanabi= total 4 limited character+ Eidolons, at the same time E1 Ruan+ E1 Robin is 4 limited character+ Eidolons they are the same picture. Bronya E3 is the only thing unrelatable cuz some might get lucky/unlucky and lose 50/50. She isn't limited character tho and if you have Bronya E3 you would just activate it and can never go back.

@@user-qr3lr7sh1g it's not about that, it's about how people view e2 and e0 showcases differently. They see e0 vs e0 and e2 vs e2, but when they see a vid like this that attempts to make a bad char work with invested supports, they will point it out

would you say ruan mei is worth it without her lc? i have e2 dhil and im saving for sparkle, but i was wondering if it would be worth it to get her, or if i should do the financially responsible thing and wait for her next rerun! love ur kids btw, i relate to beefing up the supports over the dps haha

thank you! supports 4ever RM without her sig is still very strong you really only "need" her sig LC for 0 cycles, because of the extra oomph it provides the next best LC for her would be Memories of the Past, preferably at higher superimpositions Meshing Cogs is a distant third: no break effect and 3* stats 🥶 whether to get Ruan Mei now: i recommend waiting for her re-run! she's great, fits into every team archtype ...but DHIL needs Sparkle much, much more

duly noted after receiving a lot of complaints about the lighting fast subs for my Arlan 0c on Yanqing, I've been slowing them down admittedly, the first ten seconds or so has A LOT of words on the screen

My Arlan is built but I have 0 eidolons 😮‍💨 why did they nerf this character so hard in beta when things like Gallagher are better than other 5 stars at their nitch now days.
