I have a similar model. The hose to an attachment was strong but wouldn’t pick up from the floor. You just saved me. I didn’t realize that the bottom hose could be so clogged but it looked similar to the one you emptied out in this video. And I just got a new vacuum delivered today. I tried your fix and it worked so I am returning the new one and saved myself $200. Thanks so much.

Seems like a dream...This thing works better than new! It got clogged 3 months in. I used a long sprinkler extension PVC tube, and a wood stick that fit inside it to knock the clog through a little at a time, then pulling out the debris, because I did not want to struggle with taking the hose off..... Thank you!

You saved me from buying another vacuum. When you turned vacuum over and you could see the clog, I then turned mine over and saw the clog too! I used a pronged drain snake and worked it all out. Mine was clogged with pine needles from Christmas tree and dog hair😅. Vacuum works great now! Thank you!!!

I bought one. It clogs all of the time and always spews dust all over itself and the air around it, due to mostly cheap foam "filters". Terrible engineering. Regular maintenance requires removing self-tapping screws into plastic? Really? These days? You have to clean it out with a broom handle after you disassemble it? Bissell knows better, they've been in business for 150 years. This is all about selling a cheap Dyson look-alike for Wal-Mart, not cleaning. They've sold thousands of them and they're all destined for the dumpster within a year or two. Fiddly junk. They suck, and not in a good way.
